the Elephant (Bella the dog was her best friend in the world) It wasn't until they noticed blood on Tarra they realized the elephant had carried her friend from the attack scene to Tara's barn. Workers at the sanctuary say they are very worried about Tara and as
she is in mourning, "Tarra's sisters will help her through her
sadness. Although we cannot take away Tarra's pain immediately or the

| Fox Please pray for our beloved 15-year-old orange tabby, Fox. He has been
nauseated, eating little, and losing weight. He has a mass on his pancreas
that seems benign, but still may be causing him trouble. He also has
been diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease and arthritic knees.
His other test results are excellent. We would love to have him recover
and spend much more time with us, but especially we pray that God grants
wisdom to his veterinarians and to us as we must decide what to do for

having stomach problems and I have had him to the vet a few times. He
gets sick after he eats unless he has a particular medication. Unfortunately
I cannot afford to pay for this medication all the time. He is white

| Melee For Melee. Melee is an 18 year old tortouishell kitty who has been
very loved by her family. We chose her out of a litter when I was 3
years old and in preschool. I am now 22 and our family is saying goodbye
to a curious and very opinionated kitty. She was the go to girl when
there was a hefty moth in the house and you could hear her mewing after
she went hunting at night leaving us her proud catches of socks and
underwear. We will miss her dearly and remember her for the energy and
excitement she brought to our house. I love you Melee, we all love you
and we pray you are able to finally rest in peace and contentment after
having a long and successful life. Although I am not the most religious,
I believe praying for peace and happiness for the ones you have loved
deserve to be carried on in our hearts forever. |

I call my baby with fur. Ebony has been in the hospital for a week now
and she has had all kinds of tests and surgery done and now the doctor
is telling us she may have incurable cancer. They did a Biopsy and we
should be getting her results tomorrow which happens to be my birthday.
I could not ask for a better gift then to have my baby come home healthy.

| Toby UPDATE: Toby is still at the hospital. He has pneumonia,
but also had to get emergency surgery to drain a abscess. We were told
the surgery went great. Today I got a call that he was not doing too
well. He is now on a respirator, and has a 50/50 chance of survival.
I talked to him hoping he could hear me. I told him that if I only had
one wish, it would be that he could get better and come home. But that
if he was too tired, that it was okay to go. I love Toby more than I
have ever loved anything in my life. I don't see him as my baby, I see
him as my best friend in the whole world. I know in my heart that he
doesn't want to die, and that is what hurts the most. And the ironic
thing is that I just realized that I met him this week, 13 years ago.
I pray to God that this is just a reminder to me that our days are numbered,
and not to take any more time for granted. I hope he makes it. Please pray for my best friend Toby. He may have pneumonia and is not
doing too well. He has been at the emergency clinic since last night.
My hope is that God gives us more time with Toby, but if he has to go,
I hope he understands that I will always love and miss him. I know he
is older, but I don't know what I will ever do without him! |

| Pumpkin Many thanks to those of you who’ve kept her in your prayers these past few years. Through the grace of Our Good Lord, she overcame hyperthyroidism (she had the radioiodine treatment at age 13), UTI's, and a spinal stroke, and we were able to manage her CRF for about three years. She and I had a good run, giving me and all who knew her lots of joy and laughter with her silly antics and funny face. I thank Our Good Lord for every day/month/year she was with us. If you have furbabies, please go home today and give them lots of loving and attention. MJ Please pray with me for my calico, Pumpkin, whom I'm taking to the vet this afternoon. Pumpkin has CRF, but we've been able to keep things stable with a prescription diet. In the last several weeks, Pumpkin would not touch the prescription canned food, but she still ate the prescription dry, and I found alternatives to the canned, which she seemed to like. Now, she wants to eat, but has been turning her nose up at most foods I try to give her, and she's lost a little bit of weight as a result. She's a small kitty to begin with, so we don't want her losing weight. I'm bring her to the vet today for a renal panel (she had one 3 months ago, and the numbers were stable) and exam. Please ask Our Good Lord and all the saints, angels, and blesseds who are the patrons of animals to envelope Pumpkin in their healing grace so that all tests come back favorably and that we can get Pumpkin eating again. I just lost my mother in June and would be devastated if something happened to Pumpkin. Our Good Lord has heard and answered our prayers on Pumpkin's behalf in the past, and I'm hoping he will bless her again with favorable results. someone has seen my fliers or signs and so they'll call me/take him
to a vet/the Humane Society where they'll find his microchip and they'll
call me. I beg you, Webster, make your way to someone who emanates love,
someone who can link us back together again so we're re-united. I am

She is only four years old. Cleo was diagnosed back in February and
was doing well, but now the cancer has come back. I don't know how much
time we have with her. I know it's up to God to determine how long she

| Slinky Please pray for our wonderful dog, Slinky, whose bloodwork just showed
that she is having a major problem with her liver. On September 2nd
she'll be having an ultra-sound. Slinky is 12 now and I found her when
she was just a little puppy, who had been thrown away after being terribly
mistreated. She's had Addison's Disease since she was 3 and has been
on medication since then. People ususally think Slinky is still a puppy
because, although she is a shepherd-mix (black & tan), her legs
are shorter and she is smaller. My prayer is that Our Lord & Savior
Jesus Christ touches Slinky with His miraculous healing light... Thank
you for your prayers and may Our Messiah bless and heal all the precious

| Momo UPDATE: May I post an update on Momo and further request
for prayers at your website? – Momo was discharged on Sat 13 Aug
after spending a week at the clinic and was obviously very happy to
be home. Still wobbly she ran straight to her water bowl and drank and
drank... she has regained her appetite and is eating well. in 2 weeks
time we will need to run the blood test on her kidneys again ... the
vet is concerned that her blood urea levels are still way too high while
her cre levels are coming down but too slowly . Basically there is nothing
more the vet can do for her other than prescribing the subcutaneous
fluid therapy which I am giving her every day. I am also administering
a holistic herbal remedy, applying heat therapy and keeping to a strict
kidney diet for her ... please continue to pray for her healing. we
found out from the surgery on her womb that she has had caesareans before
...I do not know how many litters of pups she was forced to conceive
and deliver at the puppy mill ... she has been so good and so brave
... please pray for her . Thank you. Please pray for my schnauzer Momo . She underwent surgery on Monday because her womb was infected . The surgery went well but her blood urea and creatinine levels are still too high . The vet says we need to bring the levels down or the prognosis for her recovery will not be good . Momo was rescued as a breeding dog abandoned by a puppy mill . She endured and survived many health problems and I love her so much for being the brave and good good dog that she is . Please pray for her kidneys and her surgical wound to heal so she can still live out many more years ( we don’t really know how old she is ) and I can give her the life she deserves. she is such a patient , sweet and longsuffering girl ... please pray for my Momo to be well . Cat I am reaching out to everyone for prayer for Mommy Cat. The vet called to say there is no improvement in the infection/mass in her chest. They considered putting her under anesthesia, pumping fluid into her lungs and then extracting it, in the hope that they could get some of the cells and identify whatever the bacteria is that is causing the infection, but the risk is way too high. She isn't eating and they are concerned about fatty liver developing. Private practice vets do not feed intravenously so it would mean getting her to Cornell or Penn State and we are not prepared to do that to her. She's about 14 years old... not sure of her exact age as she was a stray when she came to live with us 10 years ago. Not to mention that it would run in the thousands of dollars and while we're already at about $500.00 over the last 2 days, added to Nick's hospital bills, we just couldn't do it. For now, they have put her on steroids, plus the antibiotic, plus meds for pain. She's been hydrated and fed by syringe for today and they are sending her home to us in the hope that it will encourage her to eat and de-stress, and also because they feel that she is not going to recuperate in a foreign environment, being such a nervous cat. Bottom line is this: If there is no turnaround by Friday, by which time the antibiotics and steroids should have worked, then we will have to put her to sleep. It would be cruel to continue with anything more invasive than what we are currently attempting and we are all in agreement on this. However, I believe in MIRACLES!! We serve a mighty God and He can do all things. So I am asking you to please put her on your prayer list, on any prayer chains you can and I will do my level best to love her and care for her for the next two days and see if we can turn it around. I am grateful beyond words for all your support. I will update when

| Shep Unfortunately, he could tell that Shep was gone and probably drowned right away, but now stuck on a ledge and eddy on the top of the falls and had been whirlpooling around so his body was caught up between rocks for hours or days. Ken tried Friday and Saturday to retrieve his body with no luck of
help from any local services. I called the Sherriff’s dpt and
they told me the River was too high and dangerous for anyone to attempt
a rescue. Well, they were wrong. It’s unfortunate that a beautiful dog who had been in lots of pain his whole life and without vision would have such an unpeaceful death. At least he is home now and Ken does have his collar. We believe he is running around in heaven with new eyes and playing at the river with rocks. He loved rocks. He is God’s creation after all. So now we let go and heal. I visited with Ken last night and he will
drop him off today to be cremated. Such compassion us dog lover’s
have. They are so loyal to us, shouldn’t we be the same? Thanks
so much for all you do. July 25 _____________________________________________________________________________________ UPDATE: Hi there, Please continue to pray today. They
have no phone reception at Moose Creek and believe they will be home
either tonight or tomorrow sometime. I’ve attached a picture of
my black shepherd and Ken’s tanned one, Shep. This was a younger
picture when he still had his vision. Since we divorced I’ve had
Germaine and he’s had Shep. Thank you for all you do for our beloved
pets. _____________________________________________________________________________________ Please pray for our 10 year old German Shepherd named Shep.
He is blind in both eyes and was swept away by the Selway River in
Idaho. We have been unable to locate him since Saturday
afternoon, July 9th, 2011. I am trying to hang in there and be supportive
to my ex husband and his daughter who is three and who both watched
feeling hopeless. Shep did have his leash on and Ken had just let it
go to do something with his daughter on the river beach. Yes, love over
pain, he talked about how good of a dog he has been though he was fully
blind now. He was always there for him and was his companion. We all
know what that feels like. Pray for Ken and his budd, John today. They
will be flying his plane out tonight for a full day's search tomorrow.
He just wants to bring him home. Pray the Lord directs him to where
he is. He is keeping the faith that he is still alive but we know the
possibilities of that not being so. Thanks for thinking of us. |

13 UPDATE: Simba Please lift up your prayers for the safe return
of our Simba. He ran out the front door late Tuesday night (june 28)
or early Wednesday morning (june 29) when my husband was preparing for
a trip. He didn’t see that Simba had gotten out. Simba is an indoor
only kitty. We have seen Simba on our patio Tuesday morning (july 5)
eating and that evening in the yard of a neighbor. I have signs up everywhere
and have passed flyers out door to door. I now have 3 humane traps set
to hopefully catch him. He runs every time we move towards him and does
not respond to our calls. We just pray that he returns home and isn’t
afraid of us. Simba is obviously soooo scared and sooo uncertain what
to do. It has been raining heavily each of the last 3 evenings. I am
just beside myself with fear and grief for my baby. Please come home
and stay, my Simba boy!!! I love you!!! |

| Peaches UPDATE: Just wanted to send an update on Peaches.
Here tumor has been shrinking. Surgery is now scheduled for Friday May
13th. Thanks to you for praying and putting it on the site. Please continue
to offer prayers for her. We are hoping now for a successful surgery
to remove all of the tumor, that there is enough tissue on her leg to
close the incision and that tumor is benign. I will keep you updated
and appreciate so much everyones prayers for our Peaches. I am offering
prayers for other with pets in need! Sincerely, Dear Friends: Could you please pray for our sweet, 3 year old pug,
Peaches? She has a large, swollen lump on her right front leg. It has
been diagnosed as a mast cell tumor. Right now they are thinking it
is benign but we are not sure. It is too large for surgery as there
is not enough tissue on her leg to heal if they removed it. There is
a strong possibility she could even lose her leg. We are praying for
a miracle here----that the tumor shrinks so if needed, they can do surgery.
Successful surgery without removal of her leg and no cancer—please

Peaches? She has a large, swollen lump on her right front leg. It has

is benign but we are not sure. It is too large for surgery as there

a strong possibility she could even lose her leg. We are praying for
a miracle here----that the tumor shrinks so if needed, they can do surgery.

| Diesel UPDATE: Marianne I just received a text from my daughter
saying they will have to put Diesel down in the morning. Her daughter
doesn't know yet. Please pray for them. Please pray that Diesel will
not suffer and somehow he will understand. Please pray that my daughter
and grand daughter will handle this hard decision with minimum pain/grief.

England Ruby gone to a better place. She was in too much pain and had really

Adrian's 2 beautiful Rottweilers (they are not vicious dogs at all -
they really are big softies - it's the owners of dogs like this who
are to blame for their bad press). Ruby suddenly collapsed (she is 8
years old) and can't walk. She was fine a few minutes before this happened.
The vet thinks she has had a stroke; but Ruby is eating and drinking
and the vet said her heart was strong, so I'm not sure - I'm hoping
it could be something like a trapped nerve - but I'm the eternal optimist!
Anyway, please, please pray for her - I know big dogs don't have very
long lives but they are not ready to let Ruby go to Heaven just yet.

found out that she has soft tissue sarcoma on her right hind leg. The
only option so far is amputation. Considering her age, weight and personality,
we don't feel she would do well. Granted, they say that's the "cure"
but what kind of life would she have. She is a very sweet and loving
cat, but also is very emotional. It takes her a long time just to get
over going to the Vet for a regular check up how would she cope with
the loss of a limb. We are just sick inside with grief. Please pray
that we make the right decision for her and that something positive
comes up this horrible situation. She doesn't seem to be in pain at
all- no one would know she had this devastating disease. We don't know

Please pray that Khilee is – first and foremost – free from pain and discomfort and, more importantly, that she can make a full and complete recovery and allow her to be the happy-go-lucky companion that she has been to her devoted and loving "mom," Kristi. As much of an animal lover as I have been all my life, I must admit that the thought of writing to a pet prayer website never really crossed my mind... but I'm glad I found it. AJ, the owner and one in charge was arrested for what this parolee did and is now facing 15 years. I am asking for prayer for him to get out. | Brownie ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Hello, I have a prayer request for a cat my family has been calling
Brownie. He is a stray we have been feeding and tending to for the past
year, but only in the past month and a half has he let me and my mom
pet him, pick him up, just love him in general. We can't bring him inside
due to our other cats, but we are doing the best we can. I work part
time at a vet clinic about two miles from my house and decided to take
him there to get checked out. Well, long story short, he got spooked
and ran out of my car and across the street into a neighborhood. He
obviously has no tags or microchip. I have been beside myself with uncontrollable
grief and am paralyzed with guilt, especially since he had his own little
house with beds and blankets, we gave him whatever he wanted to eat,
and gave him attention everyday and now and I don't know how he is doing.
I keep thinking that he thinks I tried to get rid of him. My mom, brother,
and I tried very hard to look for him, but one antagonistic resident
got in our way. I am simply devastated. Since he is on the other side
of town across the river, we aren't sure if he could/will find his way
back to us, or if he will just keep going farther away. I can't stop
crying and I can't believe I let this happen. I have no desire to do
anything. He is so sweet, all he wants is love, and now this happens
to him. At 23 I have never felt this kind of agonizing and paralyzing
guilt before and I feel so helpless. I just want him to be okay. It
breaks my heart to think how scared and confused (and cold and hungry
and lonely he is). I know I need to stay positive and pray but I can't
even think straight since I feel so guilty. |
