Frankie
Please pray for Frankie, my Niece's lost cat.. He went missing 8 weeks ago. After a life-threatening pregnancy and with her husband in Iraq. She only had little Frankie to comfort her. Her husband is now home, but Frankie is missing. I pray for Frankie's safety and well-being. For the goodness of our dear Lord to see him home safely. May St. Francis of Assisi and St. Anthony of Padua watch over him and aid him to safely return to his loving family.

Oscar
UPDATE: Great news ... Oscar is home safe! Would you believe it, he walked into a pub about a mile from his home!! Luckily his owner had phoned around the neighbourhood, so the people in the pub rang her around midnight to let her know he was safe. Thank You, Lord!

Bocho
Hi I would like to request a prayer for my cat Bocho. He has been missing since Wednesday, November 29th. With the weather getting colder my family and I, especially my mom are getting worried. We put up signs for missing cat. One lady said she saw him but that was the day before we put up the signs. Today we found out he's travelling further away from our house; we don't think he sprayed near our house and knows how to get back. Please please pray for my cat Bocho. Bocho means kiss in italian. We named him that because he goes up to anyone and gives kisses. We miss him so much. Help guide him back home.
Thank you,
Ashley

Dear Lord,
Please help us to find Bocho our Cat. He has been lost since 11/27/06 It's cold over here and we are worried about him staying warm. I pray almost every night for him to come back home to us. He is a loving, friendly cat. Always there to give you a Big Hug and kisses..
He knows when your upset, and with that he snuggles up to you just to let you know that he loves you. Please Lord, guide him back home. Also, bless the family who was feeding Bocho and holding him for the few days he was by their house.

Bocho

Let Bocho know that we love him so very very much. And his animal Brothers and sisters miss him too. Our Hearts are breaking. But we are still trying to stay strong, knowing he is still alive.
Bocho, come and meet us half way, mommy has been looking for you for days now, I even put up signs. Please come out from hiding if you can and listen hard for mommy's call. We want you back home.. Please.
Love Forever,
Mommy, Ash, Craig, Cole,
Simba, Harlee, Gizmo, and Phoebe. xoxoxoxox

Smokey
Dear friends:
First that I want to say I am so sorry for you having trouble with your pets. They are so wonderful that they were made from God. We should cherish our memories what we have with our pets. I am very happy that you got your pets back and well healthy too. I am so sorry that many of you lost your pets. I know how you feel. It hurts a lot but God loves our pets. We will see our pets again. I am sure of it.
Last weekend, on Sept. 25th, 2006 I lost my lovebird peach face, his name is Smokey. I was playing with him upstairs at my mom's house then he flew downstairs while my mom
opened the door to check the mail. He flew away. He is 4 years old. I love him so much. I saw him so happy in the sky and singing on trees. He won't come down anymore. He was tamed but I guess he loves to be outside more. I miss him so much... I feel so helpless. I keep thinking i should have prevent this from happening. My mom felt so bad. She loves him too. We have sent out posters and ads in newspaper. I try so so hard to have faith and think positive but.. I don't know how to go on without Smokey. I raised him for 4 years since he was a baby. I keep crying everyday. I miss him so much. We always had fun together, singing
together, now he's gone. I don't know how to go on.. please pray for me to get strength and Smokey to come home soon. Thank you very much.

Angel

After a 2-year battle with an autoimmune disorder, our beloved Angel has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She died peacefully in my arms yesterday around 8:30 AM. She is now free of pain, endless tests, needles and medication. I would like to thank all of you who have kept her - and me - in your prayers these last years.

Braveheart and Valiant
Please pray for the two little feral kittens, rescued and raised tenderly
by myself. I could not keep both of them, and was not able to find homes. I had
to surrender them to the shelter to find them homes. Pray they are able to tame down quickly, adjust to the scary world of the shelter, and show their loving natures and be
adopted ASAP!
I will hope for a miracle, that somehow I am able to get my dearest Braveheart back (the one I loved most and which was shyest.) although the shelter rules are against it. I pray that I will be able to get Braveheart back, and be able to find him a home independent of the shelter - one that will respect his gentle shy nature.
Valiant will do well anywhere, but his brother will be lost if not adopted with him. That's why I want him back with me.
Please, pray for them and for me getting Braveheart back.
Love and peace

November 21

Gretchen
My Gretchen. She is an 11yo Miniature Schnauzer. The first pet I have ever had. She has been pampered all her life - even had her own "nanny" on a daily basis while I was at work so she would never be alone.
She has developed an enlarged liver. Her last enzyme test showed an increase of 400 points. She has refused to eat today. Has thrown up twice today, and three times last evening.
She is my life. I hold her and sob. Monday she is going to see a specialist. I try to have hope, but my head won't listen to my heart.
Please say a prayer. I love her so much and I want the very best for her. Thanks.

Cuervo
My sweet, precious Cuervo (13 year old, tabby persian) has been diagnosed with otitis media, interna with excessive fluid in his bulla (ruptured eardrum).

He had a subclinical ear infection and the groomer mistakenly cleaned his ear and aggravated this condition. He now has Horner's syndrome, has trouble walking and is no longer eating or drinking. I painfully had to leave him at his neurologist yesterday to monitor him for 24 hours and most likely, have to administer a NG tube to supply nutrients. He is without a doubt, one of the sweetest, loving cats I have ever known. He epitomized unconditional love. As sick and miserable he has felt this past week, he still continues to purr, meow, and rub against me and his older brother, Bailey. Please pray for Cuervo as he needs strength and courage. Thanks you in advance for all of your prayers and blessings.

Holly
Please remember my friend Maryann and her dog Holly in your prayers. Holly might have to be put to sleep today and my friend is so devastated.
She is retired and lives alone and this sweet little dog is the center of her small world. Please pray that God will heal Holly, and if that is not His will, please pray that the Lord will give Maryann the comfort and strength she will need to get through this loss. Thank you and God Bless you all.

Cesar
UPDATE: Thanks so much for all the prayers for Cesar. He died Friday morning. Please pray he's at peace now and that he forgives me for not taking better care of him.

November 6th
________________________________________________________________________________________

Cesar needs prayers once again. He's the 5-year-old Chow mix. He responded well at first to the chemotherapy for lymphoma but it didn't last long and now his cancer is resistant. So there's one more drug left to try but it's very toxic to the liver. He also has a bad infection right now and won't eat. The vets don't give him much of a chance, but I'm not giving up yet. Thank you.

Precious and Bandit
UPDATE: Unfortunately, sweet little Bandit left us on his own, and crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 6:00 p.m. this evening. We just couldn't get the digestive problems straightened out. I buried him beside his brother Carl who left us yesterday. The remaining brother, little Blackie, is doing wonderful. He is eating well, and digestive problems are non-existent. He is on antibiotics as a precaution. Thank you for all of your prayers on our behalf.
Dan     October 24
______________________________________________________________________________________

UPDATE: Our special little angel, Precious Carl, crossed the Rainbow Bridge at about 1:00 p.m. today. He just ran out of fight and had to go home. He slept with me last night, which I will treasure forever. He was moving around some until the early morning hours. He was a sweet boy, and Heaven has another little furry angel.
Please continue praying, as one of Carl's little brothers is also fighting "the runs". We have him back on antibiotics and are giving him yogurt to try and stablize his digestive system. He is not anywhere near as ill as Carl was, so hopefully we can save him.
He is precious too.... I will fight for him as long as he has the will to fight. Thank you for your prayers!
Sincerely,
Dan     October 23

Ruby (and Brian)
A friend of mine, Brian, has a 17 1/2 year-old Chow/Rottweiler mix breed dog, Ruby, who he has had since she was a puppy. I only met Ruby one time and I can see in her eyes she is ready to Go Home! Brian has to face the dreadful decision as all pet owners who have elderly, ailing pets have to face. Ruby is barely getting along and has very little quality of life, if any, left. I know Brian takes wonderful care of her and makes her as comfortable as possible, but she is struggling so. She has been blind for seven years. She does unbelievably still get up her 90-pound frame to eat and eliminate most of the time, but that's about it. She does not have much left for hearing. It is heartbreaking to see an animal live like that. I ask for prayers for Brian and Ruby and that Brian will do the right thing for Ruby soon. He is having such a hard time letting go. If I ever saw a dog wanting to Go Home I saw it when I looked at Ruby. She needs to be in a better place and out of her discomforts soon where she can be received unto the Good Lord and met with wagging tails at the Rainbow Bridge in her "renewed" body and strength. Thanks for any prayers said for Brian and Ruby during this difficult time.

Skylar

Skylar
UPDATE: What a Mighty GOD we have. Thanks to your wonderful site and all the prayers. We received a phone call yesterday evening, from an Animal Shelter. They had received a call about a cat in a garage that would hiss and not leave. The Animal Officer went and retrieved the cat. Luckily my daughter had gotten Skylar a micro chip put in recently. The Officer was able to locate us do to the micro chip when they scan her. We had to wait until this morning to go get her. She was 20 miles away from home. She appears to be in good shape, back home eating, laying in her favorite spots. Sleeping a lot, very tired from her long journey. Skylar's family and Skylar would like to Thank everyone for all their prayers. Thank you GOD for watching over Skylar and bringing her back safely to us. Amen

My daughter's cat Skylar slipped out the backdoor yesterday evening, when the wind blew it open. We did not know she was missing until several hours later. She is very special to us, she is not an outdoor cat. Her front paws are declawed and she is very nervous around strangers. Please help us pray for a safe return. God to look over her, protect from harm, and guide her back home.

October 12

Precious
UPDATE: Precious perked up about mid-day Thursday. I took him back to the vet Thursday evening. My vet felt she was dehydrated and also anemic. These kittens were covered with fleas when I found them. We treated them for fleas, but with little tiny guys, it doesn't take much to put things out of whack. The vet gave him fluids subcutaneosly and we are using Nutrical to combat the anemia and stimulate the appetite. I forced the Nutrical, yogurt, and water down him last night. By this morning, he was up and waiting on me. I offered him some wet kitten food, and he ate about 3 teaspoonsful. I think we are turning the corner. I thank you for all of your prayers. I will keep you posted. God bless you!

I have been nursing a litter of 5 kittens, trying to get them healthy enough to find homes. They had an infection, which the vet gave us antibiotics for. Four of the five are doing very well and gaining weight. One of the babies, a little boy that I am calling Precious, is not doing well. He isn't eating much of anything, and is incredibly weak. Without a touch from The Healer, this sweet little one won't make it. Would you please pray that God would somehow turn this all around, for His glory, and that this Precious baby would be healed. Thank you! Sincerely,
Dan

-----------------------------------------------------
Please take a moment to pray for my sweet cat, Billy. He has been missing for two days and we have just learned that a coyote was spotted near our home (very rare in the city). He is a gentle, affectionate, loving creature and we are so afraid that we will never see him again. We pray that the Lord will bring him home safely to to the family that loves him so much. Thank you for remembering my Billy in your prayers. God bless you and all of his creatures everywhere (even the coyote).
Sincerely,
Joanie

Zippy

UPDATE
Please click here

Zippy
UPDATE: We found out that Zippy has a mass in his intestine, and also he has nodules all over his liver, spleen and one bowel. His doctor says it is cancer because of the way it is spread through out his abdominal cavity. Zippy is on meds so he can keep his food and water down, and he is also on pain medication for his arthritis in his back and his back legs. He is eating home-cooked meals (healthy human food) to enhance his appetite along with some of his dry food, Zippy is getting very thin (you can see skeleton) his doctor said that he must have his dry food along with the good human food , since the good food is just feeding the cancer!
This past Sunday we took Zippy and his sister and a cousin to a blessing of the animals, which included having all the animals attending a Mass inside the church. He seemed to enjoy this, but I think it took a lot out of him. So we will try and see how Zippy does. He seems a little more tired these past couple of dark dreary autumn New England days. Zippy still enjoys his daily (short) walks and he still loves to ride in the car with me! Even tired as he was today, he hopped in the back seat of the car and we took a nice ride to pick up pizza a couple of towns away! On the way home he stood up all the way and had his head out the window sniffing the crisp autumn air!
Zippy is still a strong willed alpha male greyhound., and so far his strong back racing legs (with arthritis ) are keeping him hopping in the car and up and going up and down stairs.
Please pray for Zippy that he has a full miraculous recovery. Zip and his sister and me and my sister are going to the Lourdes shrine tomorrow to pray for him and for all the sick and suffering animals. We will also light some candles, say more prayers and get some holy water for them to drink and hope the power of prayer is heard from above.
I will keep all you animal lovers posted on Zip's progress. Again prayers to all the sick and suffering animals of the world

Please pray for my "nephew" Zippy, he is a retired greyhound racer, 11 years young and he has a mass in his intestines and something on his liver. We are praying surgery will help him and he recovers to live out his life with his little sister "Tabby", also a retired racer. Please pray to Saint Francis and St. Roch and St. Hubert for "Zip" and his family that loves him very much.
Prayers to all who have lost their beloved pets, those who are sick, elderly and lost. Thank you,

Oscar & Ruby
Oscar
An update on Oscar, the Rottweiler who suffered abuse and neglect and was found wandering in the Mayo countryside (it appears he managed to escape from wherever he was kept locked up ... the vet in England said his teeth were in a bad way .. we think he managed to gnaw himself out of wherever he was).

He was rescued by Mayo SPCA and our elder daughter Michelle, who is a volunteer with the SPCA, helped to nurse him and get him to start trusting people again. He had literally lost the will to live, and it was absolutely heartbreaking to see him like that. Anyway, after a few weeks, and a lot of veterinary care, he was able to make the long journey by van and ferry from Ireland to England and is now making wonderful progress, even after only ten days, receiving lots of love and care from Susan and Adrian (our daughter and son-in-law) in Poole, England. Ruby is their other Rottweiler and she accepted Oscar right away! Ruby on the right of the picture .... doesn't she look delighted to have a new brother? It will probably be a while before we see Oscar smiling like Ruby is but we're sure it will happen in the not too distant future!
By the way, Rottweilers are loving, loyal, affectionate dogs ... they have a bad publicity because they look powerful and scary, and many owners train them to be guard dogs and treat them like burglar alarms instead of one of God's beautiful creations! Ruby and Oscar were wonderful with our 3 year old grandson, Joshua, who came to visit for the weekend when Oscar arrived.
Charlie, who also was mentioned in the prayer request for Oscar, is now fine and growing into a beautiful dog.

Mau
UPDATE: Mau had his doctor's visit today...bad news...his intestinal tumor is back...the lump I felt under his ribs is just a slightly protruding rib...I have never felt it before the 14 years I have groomed him...I feel that God let me notice the rib and that led to the return visit to his doctor and the news that the tumor is back...I would not have known if not for feeling the rib...God is gracious...please pray for him not to suffer...or of course complete healing...Paula and Ray     September 21
______________________________________________________________________

I am asking that you all pray for Mau again...last night when I was grooming him, I felt a large lump under his rib cage....I will be calling his doctor today to set up an appointment....please pray for complete healing or that our awesome God will take him in his sleep before he suffers. As you know he had an intestinal mass that he was diagnosed with in March 2006. The doctors are completely amazed because on one of his return visits the large mass was completely gone and he has not even vomited since July. I know that my Gracious God healed him because of our cry for help...please find it in your hearts to pray again for him....thank you so much...we are so grateful!

Codee Ray
(6 weeks old)

Just wanted to share and introduce to you my new "furbaby", Codee Ray, who I have just welcomed into my heart today, 09/17/06.

Codee Ray
I just met him today and will not be picking him up until, 09/29/06, when he will be ready to leave his mommy and littermates when he is 2 months old. He is my pride and joy already. It's so nice to remember how absolutely "adorable and charming" these puppies can be...........
it's been 16 years!
Jake
was my first dog, and now Codee, the second joy of my life! I am sure I will love him and nurture him as much
I did Jake, and know he will grow up to be a beautiful boy.
I can't wait to start my life with him. I hope he and my kitty Amber will be great buddies. After a few days of trying to come up with a name for him, I decided on Codee Ray, named after my mom and dad (his grandparents), Dee and Ray Mariucci; thus, the name Codee Ray.

Moon
UPDATE: Thank you so much for your special thoughts and prayers for all of us in our time of need. I am extremely sad to say that Moon has gone on to be with his sister Allis last night. I'm pretty sure they both know how MUCH they were loved and their loss leaves me without words. The only comfort I hold is knowing they are in a special place now and I look forward to the day when I can be with them again. Thank you, again!!
Molly      September 26

Moon (15) and I suddenly lost our closest friend Allis (16) in January to lymphoma. It was the hardest time in my life, but I still had Moon to get me through it. Now out of the blue, Moon's behavior changed so I took him to the vet on Friday - they think it is cancer and will know for sure on Monday or Tuesday. He is not eating or being his usual loveable self and it's killing me inside. All I ask is for a prayer that he does not suffer and that
I make the right choices for him. He is all I have left!

Kenzo

Kenzo
I would really appreciate it if you could send healing to my Rhodesian Ridgeback Kenzo. I've requested your help before for friends' dogs and you have worked wonders.
This time it's one of my own, he's 11 years old and healthy apart from the sudden onset of the canine form of MS. He can no longer feel his back legs as the nerves are deteriorating. He still enjoys his food and spending time with his family, but is unable to go on any walks and finds it difficult even to make it out to the garden.
Please please send Kenzo some healing as he is still full of life and energy, but at the rate that this is developing I'm afraid that he won't even last the month. The vet says that nothing can be done but I believe in the power of healing. I have attached a photo of Kenzo.
Kind regards,
Lena

J's Cat
I have a cat who is very sick to the point where he might die. I am doing the very best that I can to take care of him. He has already been to see the vet but, I cannot afford to take him for a second visit. I love him and do not want to lose him, he is like a child to me. Without a miracle, I do not think he is going to make it. I am doing what I can to try and save him but, there is not much left I can do. Please pray that the God will make him well.

Malaya
Pray for my Malaya, she is a vital part of our family. She has been having trouble with nasal cancer and some breathing problems, but not all of the time. She is healthy in every other way, still eating, toileting, etc.. and plays with her ball. My husband and I have been having a not so good year with his stepdad passing suddenly and then recently his mom suddenly passed away, and I have not worked since April 12th. All of our pets have been blessings to us during this time and especially Malaya, she is such a great dog. Pray for healing of the problem and God will perform a miracle and we can have her for a few more years. Thanks,

Cesar and Sophie
UPDATE: Cesar, my 5yo chow mix, did fine with the biopsy and now we wait for results.
Continue to pray for him, that the results come in and he can start chemo before his disease gets too bad. Lymphoma progresses rapidly and I hate just waiting. Thanks to all who've prayed for him so far.
Sophie, my 12yo cat, has renal failure. Please pray for her too. Thank you.

September 6

Please pray for my 5-year-old chow mix having a biopsy today for possible lymphosarcoma. Please pray for a good outcome and that if he has cancer, it's the more treatable type. Please pray for healing and more time to share with him. Thanks.

Please pray for my 9 week old kitten who was diagnosed with being anemic and a low red blood cell count. Oscar
Charlie and Oscar
Please pray for Charlie, 5 month old Labrador cross who has tummy infection and a few other problems ... that he will become a strong and healthy dog. Charlie belongs to Michelle and Mike (our elder daughter and son-in-law to be).
Also please pray for Oscar, a loveable, affectionate Rottweiler, who has suffered much abuse and neglect in his poor little life. He has been rescued and is being nursed back to health and he is being adopted by our younger daughter Susan and son-in-law Adrian, who live in Poole, England. We pray that he will be strong enough to make the journey over from Ireland very soon, so that he can begin his new life, where he will be treated with the respect and love that he deserves.

Panther (and Missy)
UPDATE: Panther is now doing fine! His bloodwork is smack dab in the middle of normal.
It is my Missy who is in trouble. She has suddenly lost weight - even though she WAS eating and NOW she cannot eat and does not want me to touch or talk to her. I think she is dying. She will have surgery on Monday or tuesday to see if there is cancer or ? in her and if so they just won't wake her up.
My heart is breaking and I hurt so bad. Missy is such a good girl. She has NEVER done a bad thing ever and has been so protective of Panther and Ben - even to standing up to big mean ole Kotton! She is just a dear and I love her so much! Thank you so much for your Prayers! I know they cured my Panther baby!

Please pray for the miracle of healing and cure for my cat, Tiger, who has just been diagnosed with lymphoma and mast cell tumor.

Dante
UPDATE: Hi! Thank you for your prayers. The report was much better than I expected from the vet this afternoon. She felt Dante had injured his back. Dogs with a long frame like chihuahuas, are more susceptable to back injuries. Dante is forever jumping off of things....sometimes I think he is part monkey. Also, we found the footstool that sits beside the bed for our older dog Lizzie to get up on the bed at night, was turned over. Possibly, Dante tipped it over jumping down. At any rate, the vet gave him a shot of cortisone and some anti-inflammatory meds for the next couple of weeks. The upside is, the cortisone shot and your prayers and helped him to really perk up this evening. He was barking and moving around quite well with our other dogs just a little while ago. Thank you so much for your prayers, and please keep praying for Dante that he will make a full recovery. In Christ,
Dan Rhoten & Family
      August 3

My name is Dan Rhoten, and I and my family live in Cahokia, IL. We have an urgent request, concerning our 4 year old chihuahua Dante. Last night, he wouldn't let us pick him up, like everything hurt. He is drinking, but this morning won't eat. That is totally unlike Dante. Dante is precious to me. He came into our home 2 yrs. ago, just days after we lost our sweet dog Frosty. Dante comforted me so much and became more than just a pet...he is my special friend.
I am just beside myself, but I know that prayer works. I have seen it many times and know that it is nothing for God to just move His finger and Dante would be well. Please, please include us in your prayers today. Thank you!

Dugan
Please pray for my cat Dugan. He is 16 years old and has cancer. He has had two surgeries but another lump has come back. I believe in the healing power of prayer so I am asking all of you to pray for his healing. We lost Dugan's brother Dobbsie 1 1/2 years ago and I still miss him like crazy. I don't know what I will do without Dugan.

I adopted Taylor ( a beautiful dachshund) from an animal rescue three ago. He had been shot in the back an terribly abused, but in spite of all that happened to him in the past, he is the most devoted and lovable companion. But now he has developed some problems, he is at the vet now unable to walk or move. Please pray for him. He is loved so much.

My beautiful American Eskimo dog, Jake, was too weak to fight anymore and mommy let him go to eternal rest on 07/22/06. I am deeply saddened, but know I did the right thing for Jake. He was a fighter until the end, but he was ready to Go Home! He is with his new friends at the Rainbow Bridge now in a "renewed" body and renewed strength, and for that I am ever so thankful. The Good Lord saw me and Jake through to the end perfectly! He went very peacefully and looked very content! My beautiful boy was one month short of 16 years old!
I have had Jake up on this prayer site several times (once in January and again in April) for various medical conditions that he had that he would seem to get better from temporarily. Thank you all for your wonderful prayers and for the owners of such a beautiful comforting prayer site for pets and pet owners! What a wonderful thing! I visit it often and say prayers for anybody who has enough faith that prayer really works and for their wonderful pets.

Decoy
Please pray for our Golden Retriever, Decoy. He has lost a lot of weight and is turning his nose up to food and my boy used to love to eat. He is a wonderful dog who brings a lot of joy to us and those who meet him. Decoy still has the strength somehow to get in the pool. He truly is one of God's greatest creations.

Chou Chou
Could you please add my grandmother's little kitty to your pet prayer page? Her name is Chou-Chou and she not doing very well. Chou Babe (as I call her!) is almost 20 years old and has lived a very pampered and happy life. She is a beautiful Himalayan kitty with beautiful blue eyes. She started out as a young and VERY wild kitten so long ago (she literally use to climb the walls), and she grew into a little sophisticated lady over the years! Now she has developed an awful cyst in her eye that goes very deep along with all the other normal aging problems our kitties develop who are lucky enough to live long lives. She either has to have the eye removed or we have to let her go. My grandmother has decided that it is not fair to put her through such a surgery at her age, so she is going to help her cross the Rainbow Bridge this Sunday afternoon. It is so hard to say goodbye and I know this decision has been very difficult for my grandmother, but she feels she is doing the best thing for her Chou-Chou. So, please say some prayers that Chou Babe will enjoy the next few days and that my grandmother and Chou-Chou will have some peace.
Thank you,
Shannon Kilbourn

URGENT PRAYER ..... Dass
UPDATE: Dass Crossed The Bridge on July 24. I took him to the vet and found he had a large tumor on his stomach. We felt he had been through enough.Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers.

UPDATE
: Thank you for your prayers. I believe they are making a difference. I was prepared to go have him put down today because there was no change since we last had him to the vets on Thursday. But this morning when I got up and took him to the litter box and then to see if he wanted a drink he actually walked across the living room.....then sat there looking around. He is still weak and is still not eating on his own but he has actually been sitting up and walking around on and off all day. I know we are not out of the woods yet and that we have a long road ahead of us....But this is the best I have felt about this situation since we found out about it. I feel there is hope and that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Please keep those prayers coming for I feel they are the main reason that he is improving. Thank-you again.

Male 2 year old cat.Has Feline Leukemia. We are trying to bring it under control with Anti-Biotics. However he is not eating and if no improvement by Monday we will be having him put down because we do not wish to see him suffer anymore. We just needed to give him this last chance. Please pray for him to recover. Thank-You

Mau
Mau says: "Thanks for your prayers! I had my checkup on the 14th.
I gained 2 lbs. My tumor shrunk from 1.5 inches down to a half an inch. I am eating all of my regular cat food that I used to love....I am doing so well and my doctor was so shocked to see me back for a visit that she is now treating me for my hyper-thyroid. It has been 15 days since I threw up...(no more dry food for me!). I am so sad though because my brother Booey died on Tuesday and I miss him...keep praying for us!!!"

Mau
Greetings all!
Just wanted to let you know that Mau is doing much better and has gained a lot of his weight back...he was down to 12 lbs. and I was afraid to pet him because all of his bones were sticking out so much...he was throwing up appx. 5-10 times a day and that has slowed down to about one vomit a week!! He normally weighs about 16 lbs and I feel he has gained close to that back...I can barely feel his spine now!!! Praise my God!!! All of this time my prayer has been that God takes away his intestinal tumor for good or takes him before he suffers...I feel his outward appearance is a good sign of his inward health...So I am asking you all again...Mau goes back to doctor on 6/14/06 and I pray that God tells us the good news that the tumor is indeed gone. I ask that you all pray in agreement and I thank you in advance...I am praying for all of you that has recently lost their pets...I am so sorry and I pray for your comfort....I also ask that God gives me the words at the upcoming doctor appt to be a witness for Him!!!!! In my Savior's Name...

Inky and Family
Please pray not only for my grandmother and me, but also for our beloved cat Inky, who passed on to her Heavenly Father on June 1. A week and a half ago she began to lose weight to the point that we could feel her hip and shoulder bones. Just last Saturday she was diagnosed as being borderline diabetic and a change of food was needed. On Tuesday we were able to get the food, and she seemed to really like it. The next day she refused to eat, although she still drank water. On Thursday, she wanted nothing more than to be near us. She passed on at 4:30 p.m., and at the same time it began to rain - those raindrops were the tears of the angels. She is now reunited with her mother, big sister Friskie ( 3 months old, who died on the day Inky was born), and a sibling from Inky's litter who was stillborn.

Elsa

I lost Elsa today, after 3 years of struggling her mobility and appetite over the last 36 hours had deteriorated to the point I could she was telling me she had enough. A braver dog I have never known and I've known many. She never complained in the slightest and looked ok even when she had temperatures 105+, a lesser dog would have been down .. not her, she would still walk to the car and jump in.. unbelievably brave.
My vet came here this afternoon, he was my equine vet who I have known over 30 years.. a genuine animal lover and he did me the greatest favour by coming, as he specialises with the horses, but I wanted someone I could trust to let her go as peacefully as possible with no fumbling for a vein, and he did that so well he sedated her first and when she was totally asleep I had to come away and leave my friend to oversee the rest, but Elsa, as always, brave to the end, slipped away very peacefully and I am so grateful for that.
God bless you for all your prayers over the years ..I know it helped.
Kindest Regards
Anne Roberts

Missing Little Dog
UPDATE: Kathie just called. The little poodle was found, and she knows your prayers created the outcome. The dog which had no tags was about two miles from home, near a very busy street.
She is VERY grateful for your prayers. Kathie is a former nun, and consequently has a deep faith and great trust in the power of prayer.

Kathie, a teacher friend of mine, was dog-sitting for a friend, Marie, at Marie's house. Somehow the little dog of Marie's got out of the backyard. Kathie is frantically trying to find the dog. Kathie has called a number of agencies, and there is no sign of the dog. Unfortunately, the dog had no tags. Marie is upset; Kathie is very conscientious and feels badly about the loss of the dog. Kathie is requesting your prayer support.

Scooter
UPDATE: It breaks my heart to tell you that Scooter - is resting peacefully now. He was just too sick and we didn't realize it. Our hearts are aching sooo bad - please pray for us and especially my daughter Beth, she is having a really hard time. This is her first big loss - she's 19. Scooter is under a big shade tree near some plants and we'll probably plant some flowers there. My father made a box for Scooter. He was the most precious thing -- it hurts very bad. Thanks for a beautiful website and prayers go out to all who are suffering loss.

UPDATE: He just got back from the vet and they think maybe it’s the food. Other things look good so far. He says she can feed him whatever he’d like for now in little quantities. For some reason, he will eat the vet’s catfood!! So hopefully things go well from here on in. Thanks for a beautiful website. We still need the prayers.
I want to share with you something I found – an article by a Methodist pastor – “Do Pets go to Heaven?” ---- I think it is a wonderful article!!!

We’ve been agonizing over Scooter who has had 2 emergency surgeries within 7 days of each other. The problem is intussusception of intestines. He really did great after the 2nd surgery but hasn’t seemed himself for a couple days. Yes, he is still recovering but he didn’t eat much yesterday and seems really lethargic. There can be other complications after these type of surgeries. God has worked so many things out during this situation including the vet and his staff waiving their fees for the 2nd surgery and a couple paying for the rest, who had set up a fund for people who’s dog needs a 2nd surgery. It’s just been a miracle. Scooter is only about 8 months old and the most precious thing. We’re holding on to faith – realizing that no matter what happens, God is in charge. Please pray that Scooter’s intestines will come into order and that no adhesions will cause a problem. Thank you all.

Woody
Please pray for our missing cat Woody. He has been gone for 2 days. This is just not like him. He always returns. We let him out two nights ago and he hasn't come home. We have heard that cats in our area have gone missing lately. My husband met a lady on our road today who was looking for her cat. We are worried about coyotes and I'm also worried about crazy people hurting him. Woody is very friendly, social and loving and likes most people and pets. Something happened to him between midnight and 6am on Friday, May 19th. Please join with us as we pray for a miracle return for Woody. Please pray that he is safe and out of harms way. Please pray that someone would see our signs up and return him for the reward or out of the goodness of their heart. We are remembering all the good times and joy he brought to our lives, but I also have been crying a lot and have been mad at God. Please pray for me to have faith, because I need it if I want our precious cat to return home. Jesus, thank you for your faithfulness and love for me. Your will is always best, even if I cannot understand it. I believe that you can return Woody to our loving home. Please put a hedge around him and send your angels to keep him safe. We love you Lord and we love our kitty. Amen.
Thank you for all your prayers.
Sincerely,
Greg and Alise Fulton

Sebastian
Please pray for my 14 yr. old Australian Shepherd with very bad arthritis. Even though in a lot of pain, he is such a trooper and runs and makes great effort to get into the car to go for rides with me. This is killing me. My husband and I are not in the best of health either, but I won't even get into that. I'd appreciate it if you would pray for all three of us to heal and to have good times together for years to come. Thanks, Jackie

Aaryon
I have another prayer request. Several months ago my son took in a stray, a beautiful Husky mix who had heartworms. He paid for treatment and the dog was able to live through it. He is so pretty and so gentle. He is now loved by all the family . He goes back to the vet in June to be rechecked to see if the treatment worked. I just pray that he is well. We really think he may have been dumped by someone who knew he was sick. He has found love and I pray he lives a long time and can enjoy it. Thank you,
Jackie

Missy
Missy is my Tiny Silver/white Kitty girl. She is so tiny when she jumps fences she flies over them, so I call her my Silver/white bird. She suddenly has gone from eating, to ONLY wanting to eat cooked turkey to not even eating IT. She does not want to be touched - wants to eat but cannot. I desperately NEED her to get well. She is our dear little "Mama" and takes such good care of her "boys" Panther and Ben and we love and need her so much. We go to the Vet tomorrow but I am worried sick as she acts so sick. Please pray for her to get well!

Mau
UPDATE: Greetings on Resurrection Sunday!
I just wanted to give an update on Mau....on his last vet visit on 4-6-06 he was put on a 10mg. dosage of prednisone. He is doing very well and we are celebrating 10 days of no vomiting and completely normal bowel movements!! Yay, all glory goes to God!! I pray that God has removed his tumor and it is just not the prednisone working but I would be grateful for that, if that is the case. So , our prayer for today is: the tumor IS gone and he starts to regain the weight he has lost!!
To Helen the owner of "Cina". I am so sorry for your loss and I pray to God for your peace and comfort during your mourning time...I am so sorry.
Lets not forget to pray for the humans in our lives. That they find a relationship with God and that we remember the reason we celebrate Easter!!
Sincerely Ray and Paula

Daisy
UPDATE: Thank you so much for your prayers for Daisy. After a difficult night, I decided not to wait for our vet appointment and we went to emergency, where the vet gave her something to settle her stomach and pretty soon she was acting like her normal self. I will check in with you and lend my support in prayer whenever I am able. You have a wonderful site! Best Wishes,
Beth
April 15

Hi, I have a mini dachshund named Daisy. She has a delicate stomach due to an intestinal blockage she incurred at age 10 months. I think she might be having stomach problems but I don't really know. The vet nurse I spoke with said it sounds like she's not feeling well but it doesn't seem like she's having an emergency. Her haunches are kind of tucked under when she walks and she's very listless. A friend of mine gave her some pancake with syrup earlier today..
I wish I'd seen it, I would have stopped him but I didn't see it. We have an appt at the vet tomorrow. I am asking for prayers for my little girl. I love her so much. Thank you.

Jake
I just want to give an update on Jake as a follow-up to my prayer request I left on April 4th. Jake has unbelievably once again made a full recovery! I am truly amazed once again at my almost 16-year-old dog. When he started eating and drinking from his food and water bowls, I knew we were on our way. Then he wanted to play with his toys again and started showing all his normal signs of my "spunky" boy after about six days or so. He was on prednisone and is still on that for the rest of this week, then I can stop that. A dear friend of mine shed some light on the subject for me early last week when he was so ill, and put me at ease that what he had may not be a brain tumor after all (we love you Judi)!!!! She sent me a link on something called "vestibular syndrome" and everything that it said about that was exactly what Jake had..............(walking into things, very unsteady on his feet, dizziness, not wanting to drink out of food and water bowls, nauseated, etc.). This can be an illness in itself and it says dogs can take up to three days to three weeks to recover from it, and it comes on suddenly, most often in older dogs. I believe this is another miracle and that prayer is so powerful! I hope it is nothing more serious than that and once he is off the prednisone hope that it will not come back.
Thank you for any prayers said for my Jake. I pray for people and their animals on this site very often, and hope that all people who have sick pets and who have pets that have passed on can find comfort in prayer and websites such as this one! God be with you all and your dear, dear animals!

Cina       (In Loving Memory of Cina)

UPDATE: Thank your for your support in prayer, Cina was an angel and God needs her more then me. I am heartbroken and I will miss her all the time. I pray that maybe some day God will give her back to me. I will cherish her memory in my heart forever. She was so strong she did not want to leave me she fought until the bitter end, moments before she died she looked in my eyes with her humble eyes and said she was sorry that she had to leave me.

Mau
UPDATE: Hello, we are "Mau's" owners. I thank my sister Billie for finding and writing to this website. I thank God for all the people who have prayed for Mau. He has stopped eating baby food (an answered prayer!...too expensive) and is now back to eating dry cat food with canned cat food gravy drizzled over it. For some reason he vomits the canned moist food but holds down the dry. Our prayer for today is: May our Gracious God let him digest this food, absorb the nutrients, and let him pass this food through his intestinal tract instead of vomiting it. We are praying for complete healing or that our Lord take him before he has pain. We are praying for all the other pets on this site and asked for God to not withdraw his hand from the animals and touch them with a miracle of healing. May God bless you all! In the name of Jesus Christ we pray...Amen
Sincerely Ray and Paula

My sister has a cat who has a mass in his stomach; he is not eating very well and if he does he vomits. We ask that "Mau" does not suffer in any way. Please pray for him.

Jake
My 15-year 8-month old American Eskimo dog, Jake, is very sick again. I originally sent in a prayer request on January 7th for Jake having surgery to remove a mass from his abdomen. I then sent an update on January 11th that Jake pulled through his surgery with flying colors and it was not cancerous. They had to remove one of his kidneys (he has had kidney disease for two years). Since his surgery he has been receiving IV fluids at the vet clinic and every-other-week checks on his labs to see how his one kidney is functioning. The labs have actually been doing very well and going down nicely with a homemade kidney diet and cutting out lots of protein in his diet.

Jake over the last week has developed a different problem that is very, very worrisome. He looks like he is in a lot of pain as he has been hanging his head a lot and panting a lot. I took him to the vet and they did neck x-rays and nothing real obvious showed up on them except for a slightly narrowed dis
