Henrietta
UPDATE: Thank you for your prayers. When I arrived home this evening, Henrietta had passed away. She was very loved
Ros
    December 22

Please pray for Henrietta, the rabbit. She has stopped eating and pooping over the last several days. I found her in the local feed store last June. They were going to give her away as a pet or sell her for food. I dont think she was well treated in her last home. She is very precious to me.

Sprite
Sprite is a four year old brown bunny. she has been sick for a few weeks, I got meds from the vet; she is still sick, I live in Minnesota, it is very cold here, I didn't feel I could take her out in -6 below temps. when I called the vets, they didn't think it would be worth it. I just don't want her to suffer.
Please, pray for Sprite. Thank you
Helen

December 20

Cato
Please say a prayer for Cato, our sweet elkhound mix, who has recovered well since her splenectomy, but still is diagnosed with a cancer, hemangiosarcoma. Sometimes she's so tired, and sometimes she has that same spark in her eye that has brought so much joy to the world for the past 11 years. Please pray for healing love to fill Cato, and pray for guidance for me, so I do the right thing every step of the way. Thank you, and bless you for your care.

Crystal
Crystal is a 14 year old Sheltie, who is suffering with tracheal collapse. Please pray for her! Her guardian (Billie) is beside herself with worry, as she loves Crystal as though she were her own child. Crystal is not a candidate for surgery, and because she is a liver compromised dog, the
meds commonly used to treat tracheal collapse pose a great risk. Please pray for a full and rapid healing! Please also pray for my friend, who so loves this sweet little girl.
Thank you!

Princess
Hi, my name is Samantha and just yesterday my four month old puppy Princess was hit by a car, which left her with a broken hind leg. My mother and I rushed her into the Animal hospital, where the vet told us that he had to run some x-rays to determine whether or not she was going to need surgery. I am worried sick because my parents may not have the money to pay for her surgery. So I ask all of yall to pray for my little Princess, and that her hind leg heal with just a cast. The vet also informed us that Princess was born with a defect in her esophagus, and it has me worried sick about her future. Please pray for my puppy and that she gets her hind leg casted up today so that we can bring her home.

December 2

Oscar
Oscar is my sweet 7 year old little red dachshund. He loves nothing more than to sit in a lap and be loved on. The day before Thanksgiving he was paralyzed by a disk rupture. Surgery was not successful. Please pray that God will heal my baby, and send me the strength, wisdom and means to give him a long healthy life full of love.
God bless all our wee furry ones,

Cindi
Oscar, Sage, Misty and Hunter

November 30

Daphne
I need prayers for my little sick bird Daphne. She has been such a joy to me. She is in the hospital on medications and losing weight. She is a little yellow/green and black parakeet with some sort of fungal infection. I pray for a healing for her.
Thank you and God bless you,

Michelle

November 30

Sweetie
Sweetie is a much loved little dog who fell ill about a week ago. She seemed to begin to recover, but is now sick with fever.
I know this is a busy holiday time for many, but please, please spend a moment to ask for God''s intercession for a healing for little Sweetie...
Thank you so much
Paula

November 22

Emmett
Emmett is a wonderful and loving Lab and Husky mix and is well loved by all. Today is his 13th birthday and he is not doing very well. Emmett has a problem walking and at at times his loving Daddy has to carry him and he is a big boy of 92 lb....please pray that he overcomes this problem and most of all that he doesn't endure any pain...

November 22

Kali and Umo
I just introduced a seven week old male kitten (Umo) into my apartment. My six year old female cat (Kali) is both jealous and fearful. I want to pray for both animals. My prayer request is that Kali will accept the kitten and they will get along. I pray that Kali still feels safe and loved. I ask you to pray also that they both remain healthy.
I want to pray with you for all the requests given for the various animals.
I also want to pray for all God’s animals, large and small, and especially for those who are abused or neglected. My prayer request is that God will change the hearts of all those who have animals in their care and that they will no longer abuse or neglect the animals.
God Bless the animals and God Bless you.
Sincerely,
Linda

November 20

Sheba
UPDATE: I very relunctantly put Sheba to sleep today. The second vet strongly recommended it and I could see that she wanted to leave. There was a sense of relief that she is no longer suffering, but a big hole is now in my chest. She had cancer in her heart and lung and there was nothing that could be done for her.
Lori
     November 9

Please pray for my cat, Sheba who has masses around her heart and lung. I will find out on Sunday whether it's cancer, but with fluid building up so much in her lungs things are not looking so good.
Lori
     November 6

Sprite
Please pray for our cat Sprite. He was hit by a minivan and had surgery on a broken pelvis but hasn't gone potty yet! They said he probably has nerve damage.
Thank you!
Laura

November 3

Luther
Thanks for your time praying last month.
Bird seems a little better as far as breathing is concerned. Still has a lot of stuff in the gizzard that is keeping protein low, so please keep helping us pray for his feather molt and dietary changes to go well. Thanks for all your prayers.

Cindy
Please keep Cindy in your thoughts and prayers. She is a loving rescued greyhound and needs some further tests to see why she is limping. Thank you.

(October 13)

Goddard
Please pray that Goddard, a lovely husky boy, be healed soon. He was near death in a shelter and was taken in by some caring folks who will love him and nurse him back to health.

(and Wilma and Fred)
Also, prayers of thanksgiving are offered for our found dog, Wilma.
She has found a loving family. :) We hope her companion, Fred, will be as fortunate soon.
Phyllis

(October 3)

Billy (and Heather)
Please pray for my daughter's wonderful dog Billy. He tried to hold on, probably to continue being there for her as he had been for the last 11 years. She knew his time was coming, and did everything to be prepared. Today was the right day for her to put Billy to rest. It broke her heart.
But she was with him all the way. His real name was Bob Tail Billy, a name given him in the shelter where he spent a couple of years, and where, when they found him as a pup, he was missing his tail. Though he had become the shelter's mascot and official greeter, it was clear from the moment Heather and Billy saw each other at a pet adoption fair that they were made for one another. When she wasn't at home, no matter who else was around to entertain him, he'd play for a bit and then return to his post--and wait for her. Billy was the best, most faithful dog I've ever seen. And Heather, a faithful master.
Please remember Billy in your prayers, and, while you're at it, say one for Heather, too.
Thank you.
Steph De Long

(September 20)

Luther
Please pray for a bird (Luther) that is having respiratory problems, that he would be healed. We need to know exactly what is wrong, because breathing problems are nonspecific in birds, and what to do for him, because size and other problems restrict how accurately we can test and treat him. We will give credit to prayer when other people see him get better.
Thankyou for your time.

Harley
Yesterday I had to put down my boy Harley. He was tired, hurting and was just ready to go to our Heavenly home. Harley saw me though several surgeries and always knew were he could be around and on me and were he could not. I was very sad, but blessed that I was there to hold him, kiss him, pray for him and let him know his mama was there. I hope with all my soul and heart he knew he wasn't alone. Even though it broke my heart, he was not going to be without his mama holding him to her heart and feeling me there. " Take good care my boy, my love and know well be together again. It may seem like a whistle to you, but it will seem like a lifetime to me,
I love you dearly and remember next time I see ya I'm going to need all the Mama kisses and loves you have in that huge heart. Until then good night baby sleep well. Love Mama"

(September 23)

Myles
Please pray for our fuzzy friend Myles, an 8 year old beautiful, loving, Keeshond boy who is undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. A miracle cure is our hope, but if a cure is not to be, then may his remaining time be happy, comfortable, and peaceful. Please include in your prayers his owner, Sheri, as she continues to care for her "heart dog" and best friend. St. Francis, I hope you are listening.
Cindy and Karly

(September 22)

J.D.
JD is still missing from our care after 4 months. I pray that he is healthy and happy and with someone who loves him. I pray, also, for the pets who are away from their people because of the hurricane. Please help those who are caring for them and trying to reunite them with their families. And I also pray in thanksgiving for all of the beautiful animals we have known.
Phyllis

(September 17)

Lenin
Please pray for my kitten Lenin who is just 12 weeks old; he is in the hospital at the moment with kidney problems; it looks like his kideys might be failing - he is such a loving little fella and he loves life and makes my house a home. He needs to eat and for the enzyme levels in his kidneys to drop. Thanks so much in advance
Ellie

(September 14)

Sam
UPDATE: Thank you for your prayers - it was beautiful. Sam died peacefully at home last night. Just stopped breathing. She (Samantha) has eaten, drank, and sat outside in the afternoon. She was never in pain. I guess 11 is a good age for a Golden. She is with our other pets and God now. Thanks again.
Marilyn
(September 26)

Please pray for my dog and best friend, Sam. She may have cancer - we're not sure but is not doing well. Thank you.

A Note to Prayerlinks
An encouragement for those who might submit prayers to your linked prayer-for-animals site.
I recently sent a request there for Steve's pet tabby cat Scooby, who had been diagnosed with lung tumours. The tumours vanished! Steve reports Scooby seems a happier and healthier cat than ever and the even better news is that Steve now knows prayer works. So now we pray that Steve makes an effort to personally connect to to the Prayer-Answerer........

Jake
Please pray for my dog Jake. He is currently undergoing blood transfusions for severe anemia. We all miss him so very much and want him to come home. He is such a part of our family and we can not imagine our lives without him. He is only 6 and has many more years to live.
We thank you all for any prayers,
The Nagy Family

(August 26)

AJ
Our beloved AJ had to be sent to God yesterday morning. He was getting thinner and weaker and not eating. He was obviously in some discomfort and had been for some time and we couldn't bear to see him suffer any more. We stayed with him right to the end and Marianne held him as he cuddled into her. We believe he knew we were doing the best for him and it was mercifully and unbelievably quick. We have had him for 13 years, which is the longest we have ever had a pet... it's a big slice out of anyone's life, so we are finding it very traumatic.

Even though, we know that he is safe and happy and that we will see him again one day.. we miss him so much.

Magic
Please pray that my Cat Magic feels better and regains strength, appetite, happiness, overall health, strong kidneys, so that he can continue to give us his precious gift of love. .........may he be protected always, may he never experience pain, may he have us close at hand always when he needs a Human's Touch... may all that he needs to help him come to him. May GOD always be with him..Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers for all God's creatures.

Angel
UPDATE: Angel is my 6 year old cat that has been suffering from an autoimmune disorder since Nov. of last year. We took her up to Cornell for a recheck, hoping the news would be as good as last time. Unfortunately, it wasn't. Angel has relapsed, with her red blood count going from a low normal of 35% down to 19%. Instead of reducing her medication - as we had hoped - she is now on a third. Please continue to pray for her. We take her back in two weeks. Hopefully, prayerfully, the news will be better again.
Ann Marie
(August 18)

Jessica
Please pray for my kitty, Jessica, who is 16 years young. She has a blood clot, which is called a "Saddle Thrombus", that traveled from her heart down her spine and paralyzing her hind legs. She is in the hospital now. She was a gift to me when I lost my first child. I never had any children and she is my most precious girl. Thank you.

Lucky
UPDATE: I wanted to update Lucky’s situation. She is doing ok for now. Her blood work has improved and she is acting pretty normal. She is grooming and eating like a horse. Our vet wants us to have the biopsy done now that her clotting factors are normal so she can see exactly what is going on with the kidneys. Our vet is really pleased with the way Lucky has responded to the treatments and is also quite surprised as is the other vet that did the ultrasound. They both did not expect Lucky to last more than a couple of days at most. We still don’t know what the long term outlook is, but at least it seems we will have her for a while yet. My wife and I want to thank everyone who prayed for Lucky. It is greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Jim & Michelle Bello  (August 26)

Hi, Lucky has severe kidney problems and the vet thinks she has lymphoma. The vet is not positive about it because Lucky's red cell count is low and her blood is not clotting well enough to do a biopsy. She spent 4 days with the vet so her fluid intake could be carefully regulated and the vet was unhappy because Lucky's blood work got worse rather than improving. At this point, unless her blood condition improves there is nothing the vet can do other than blindly treat several possible conditions which she says is not the way to go. We are currently keeping Lucky at home trying to make her as comfortable as possible until things either improve or she declines to the point where we have to take the last step. She has been with us for so long and is such a loving lap kitty her loss will be devastating to us. Thanks,
Jim & Michelle Bello, Bethlehem, PA  (August 8)

Sam
I need prayers for Sam ... a wonderful old cat.
Sam had a stroke tonight. I am so confused, I don't know what I want you to pray for!! Should I be praying that he lives or that his suffering is ended ?? (Although the vet said he isn't in any pain). Please just pray for him, please.I

 (August 5)

Milo
UPDATE: We are thanking the Lord that our cat Milo got an excellent report from
the vet. His lung x-ray showed that the mass has not changed and the
vet said this is a good sign. Thank you for praying!
Beth, Diane  (August 14)

Please pray for our special cat, Milo, who has to have a lung x-ray on Saturday. Please pray that the mass in his lung not be cancer. Please pray that the x-ray show it has not grown and is benign. Thank you.
Beth, Diane
 (August 3)

Augie
Please pray for my best buddy Augie. He is a 6 yr old doxie. We were away on vacation when the kennel where he was boarding took him to our vet. He has a rupture of disk T1301 and is paralyzed from waist down. He had surgery tonight for this (7/29/05) The surgeon says she thinks it will be successful. Please pray for his COMPLETE and QUICK recovery. He is such a lively and loving little guy and truly my best friend. I am beside myself with worry.
Cookie

Lexi
Dear Friends: Just wanted to drop everyone a note and thank you for all of your prayers for our angel kitty Lexi. Unfortunately, Lexi crossed over the Rainbow Bridge sometime early this morning. I am so thankful she went on her own and we didn't have to go to the vet.
Please keep my family, especially my daughter Alissa, in your prayers. God bless all of you!

Nina
Hello! My cousin and his wife live next door to us, and they have a cat named Nina. Nina has been missing for some time now, and she disappeared when some new people moved in next door to my cousin's house. We don't know if she ran away, or if the new neighbors did something to her. They're very strange people and I'm hoping and praying that they did not kidnap Nina or hurt her in any way. I'm worried about Nina. We all are. Wherever she is, I want her to be all right. Please ask God to be with Nina during this time and please pray that she will return home safely.
I know she is sorely missed. Thank you!

Gizzer
UPDATE: i am sad to say our little dog gizzer lost her battle with her sickness. the worst thing is that the vets do not know what was wrong with her. we tried and did everything possible to save her. it was one of the hardest things i will and ever will do putting her to sleep. but i did not want her to suffer. i ask that you pray that she is safe and happy. till we can play and walk together again. i will always miss you gizz. love dad.

(August 11)

My wife and I have a very sick 6 year old Maltese named Gizzer; she was at the vet for three days and they said she has a blood disorder and there is nothing they can do. I will do most anything to make her well. I thought a little prayer could help. She is a big part of our family and not ready to go. I can see it in her eyes. Please put her in your prayers. I will pray for her and all the sick pets. Thank you.

 (July 24)

Two Beautiful Dogs
We found two beautiful dogs. Please help us find their family, dear Lord, or guide us to someone who will love them.
Thank you.

Phyllis

 (July 19)

Perch
Our hearts are all in the same place, broken, grieving, hoping. They're our precious babies.
Our boy has kidney disease and severe anemia. Twice a day we try to administer everything he needs to help support his kidneys and hopefully the anemia subsides or goes away. There is a chance we may manage the disease but that all depends on the cat. We've approached every way possible. He's impossible but we keep trying. Our family is devastated.
We don't have to make a decision yet but it's wrenching for all to have to put him through this trauma. Please say a prayer for our boo. When it gets to a certain point, that's all any of us can do is pray. Thank you and God bless you.

Catherine

 (July 19)

Mimic
Mimic disappeared June 26. She is a black Labrador. Mimic is epileptic and needs medication for that. She also needs a special diet.
We miss Mimic soooo much! Please pray for her to return safely to me!
Candee

 (July 17)

Sam
Please pray for Sam who was hit by a car on Sunday 10th of July. He is the much loved pet of Laura and it breaks my heart to see her the way she is. Sam is a 12 year old Poodle who loves Laura very much. Don't worry Laura, Sam is going to make it. He will always be your best freind.
Love mum,
Mary

 (July 10)

Belle
Please add my little Belle to your prayer list. She is a 2 1/2 year old little yorkie who disappeared out of my father's yard in Leesburg, Fl. on January 30th. Pray that God will keep her in His hands and that she is well taken care of if I cannot have her returned to me. I miss her each day.
Kathy Weber

 (July 8)

Prime
Please pray for our little boy cat Prime who is only 2 years old. He loved to hunt and be outdoors and we always had trouble keeping him inside. He is a part of our family and used to come in the morning and crawl under the comforter of our bed. He is my son's cat. I found him abandoned as a baby and raised him. He was last seen on July 5th. I believe he may have been stolen. I'm due to have a baby any day. He is just not coming home, no matter how hard I pray. I am so scared for him. It's all I can think about. It's very scary and upsetting not know what has happened to him. I just want him to come home and if an accident has happened I want to know. My son's is at his Grandma's this week and I don't know how to tell him that Prime (named by my son after a toy Transformer named Optimus Prime) is apparently gone for now. I was heartbroken after I left the door opened a crack with some cat food and cat nip out front and saw nothing had been touched when I woke up this morning. I offered a rosary up for him last night. Today is the 7th, I'm going to start placing ads, etc. Please pray that our cat returns or we find out about what happened to him. Thank you,
Jami

 (July 7)

JD
Please pray that JD is safe and in loving hands here on earth. Six weeks ago, he slipped his collar and ran away from our care (to something?). We hope he comes home, but if not, and we would love to know that he is OK. Thank you.
Phyllis

 (July 7)

Chloe
UPDATE: Chloe is doing well. She could hardly walk, and now is absolutely back to normal – eating well and bouncing around. The decision was that she may not make it though a surgery, so we would put her on medication to try to stunt the tumor growth. The tumor has not grown. She will continue to have an x-ray monthly to make sure the medicine is working. If the tumor begins to grow, I will have to make a decision at that time to opt for the surgery or not. I love her so much. If you’ve never met her, she is a small, long-haired Siamese – she’s never gotten much over seven pounds.
Kristine
(July 28)

We found out today that our precious Siamese, Chloe, has a tumor in one of her lungs. Please pray that whatever course of treatment we decide on will be the best for her. The only nights I’ve spent in the last twelve years without Chloe sleeping at my side have been when I’m away. I love her so much. If you follow this site, you may remember RJ in January, who we lost to heart and kidney failure. Thank you.
Kristine
 (July 7)

Sophie
UPDATE: Thanks for all of your prayers; my girl Sophie is back home and
recuperating. It was 10 days in the hospital and a long haul at recovery. But she came through.
I can finally breathe again. I will continue to pray for all of your pets and all of God's creatures. Thank you.
Susan
 (July 14)

Please pray for my girl Sophie; she is my beautiful samoyed who is sick from dehydration and being treated. Please pray for her to get well as I will pray for all of God's creatures. Thank you.
Susan
 (July 6)

Tommy
My cat, Tommy is very sick. He won't eat or drink on his own, and I am having to force-feed him a high-calorie vitamin & mineral supplement to stimulate his appetite. I also have been giving him water with a large-sized dropper. Something is making him very sick. He needs prayer. Please say some prayers for Tommy so he will make a full recovery. Thanks!
Kelly

 (July 1)

Milo
UPDATE: Thank you so much for praying! Our cat got an excellent health report! The biopsy results showed it was benign! Thank you,
Beth, Diane
(July 7)

Please pray for our special cat Milo who has to have an ultrasound-guided needle biopsy of nodules/cysts on his liver and lung. Please pray that his blood clot well enough to have this biopsy and that it go safely and these be benign and him not to have cancer and to get a clean bill of health. Please pray for wisdom and guidance for us and the doctors. Thank you.
Beth and Diane

Pebbles
UPDATE: Thank you also to all of you special people who took the time to pray for Pebbles. Here is an update on her condition. She did require extensive surgery to put her shattered pelvis back together. Her Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Ketterling, had to use a lot of metal/hardware, such as pins, screws and a plate. She is not anatomically correct, meaning, her rear-end is somewhat lopsided, but this we can live with. Her internal organs do not seem to be injured, just bruised. She is just now starting to stand a little on her right rear leg, but drags her left leg with her left foot turning underneath so she may end up walking on the top of her left foot. Possibly due to her nerves being damaged. But that is good news. She seems to be adapting quite well. The surgeon suspected she may have nerve damage to her bowel and bladder, requiring to be in diapers the rest of her life. This is not the case. She started going to the bathroom on her own a few days after she returned home. And lastly, she started playing again the beginning of this week. She is barking up a storm at anything that goes by our home. She wasn't barking or playing and her ears are now pointed upwards, which is a sign that she is happy. So, I truly know that your prayers made a difference for her recovery. Thank you again for your time and your caring.
Peace and God Bless!
Michelle Riley
(June 23)

Today my 6-month-old Yorkie, named Pebbles, ran out into the street in front of our house and was hit by a car. She sustained injuries to her pelvis, legs and possible injury to internal organs. Her pelvis may be shattered and her legs are quite unstable. They won't know about the internal injuries until tomorrow morning. She is currently at an emergency veterinarian's clinic in critical care. We have only had her for 2 1/2 months but she has become a part of our family. She is my baby. Please pray for her! Thank you so sincerely!

Phantom
UPDATE: I just wanted to thank everyone who sent out prayers for my precious little boy. Unfortunately, my baby left me on Monday night around 5:20pm. I am not sure how I am going to get over this. I am truly missing my baby. I don't know if I can ever sleep in my bed again since he will not be there to curl up next to me. Thank you again to all of you who prayed for him- the support means so much to me. I just hope that God heard all those prayers and knew what a special boy he was getting.
Shannon
 (June 23)

Please pray for my precious 12 year old kitty, Phantom - also known as "Medium Boy". He has been diagnosed with carcinoma in his thoracic cavity and lungs. I have been told he will not get better. In a hope to give him some more time, he is starting chemotherapy on Monday, but was only given a 20% chance that it would help at all, and if it does only for a few weeks to a few months. He is my precious baby and I am devatated by all of this. He along with his two brothers are my world. Please pray for him. Thank you,
Shannon
(June 17)

 (June 14)

Angel
Please pray for my 6 yr. old cat, Angel. She has been suffering from chronic anemia since Nov. of 2004. We had her up to Cornell University for the third time. The news was better today, but we're not out of the woods yet. She is on Prednisone every day, and Chloramucil every other day. Her blood count was up, and the red cells appear normal, at least for now. They say she has some type of autoimmune disorder, but they can't seem to pinpoint what it is. She has to go back in 2 months. Please pray that she will continue to improve, and can come off medication. Thank you.

Buddy
UPDATE: Today I lost my best friend. The Lord finally took my sweet Buddy home and ended his suffering this morning. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank all of you for your prayers. You brought us both comfort during these difficult weeks. I know that he is in Heaven, and this is not a final goodbye. When it is my turn to go Home to God, his sweet face will be there to greet me. Love truly is eternal.
Please know that I will continue to visit this site so I can offer my prayers for those in need.
God bless all of you and all of His beautiful creatures everywhere.

Joanie       (June 27)

UPDATE: My friends, I need your help today. Buddy has suffered more than one stroke. To make things worse, my job is making me leave him. I travel for a living and he will have to be without me until Friday night. I am terrified that he will die alone. Please - pray for him. If the Lord must take him, please ask that Buddy can remain comfortable and safe until I can be by his side. I am trying to get off work - but it doesn't look good. I appreciate you all so much. Thank you for your help and God Bless You.
Joanie
      (June 21)

UPDATE: This is a heartfelt thank you to all of you have taken time to pray for Buddy. The Lord can hear your prayers and my heart can feel them. Buddy is still extremely ill. While he has cancer, heart problems and kidney failure, he continues to surprise his veterinarians.
He has resumed eating, he purrs and cuddles and his red blood cell count is rising. The doctors say they don't understand his improvement, but I do. The answer is you, the loving strangers "out there" who pray on our behalf.
I know that one day I will lose him. We all go home to the Lord eventually. But for now, you have eased both his ailing body and my broken heart . Never doubt the power of payer! Never doubt that you have the power to make a difference.
Please know that I pray for you and I pray for your loved ones. During this hard time, please know that more people care about you than you are aware of. You are not alone. He is listening.
God bless you and all of God's creatures everywhere. Thank you,

Joanie       (June 20)

I am writing to ask for your prayers for my cat Buddy.
He is not making red blood cells and is very thin and weak. I have few loved ones in my life and I ask for your prayers for my best friend. Thank you very much.
God Bless you and all those you love.

Cash
I sent a request for our Golden retreiver mix, Cash in November (see pictures from last year). Cash made a full and complete recovery. There was a point where I thought this was impossible - I even took him to the vet one morning to have him put down. When I first got him (1999 - and before I named him), I ran over him in my truck. After several operations and 10 days at the vet, he got his name - Cash. After the episode last fall, I'm thinking of changing his name to Platinum.
I've believed for a long time now that God always answers prayers - sometimes not the answer we want, but He always answers. If we always got the answer we wanted, we could control Him - and we know that is not possible.
At a church I visited yesterday, the preacher said that prayer often does not change the circumstances, but it changes us to deal with the circumstances. And prayer is like someone who sits down at a piano and hits as many keys as possible, but produces a terrible sound, then concludes that it doesn't work. Then you find out that with years of practice, beautiful music can be made. We continue all our lives to mature as Christians, but are never completely mature on this side of life.
Thanks to all who prayed for Cash. He is an amazing dog.

Sonia
Urgent Emergency Prayers for Sonia. Please pray for my 12 year old tan lab Sonia. We were just told yesterday she has a possible malignant tumor under one of her breasts and needs emergency surgery - she was previously misdiagnosed as having a fatty cyst 8 months ago! She also developed heart arrythmias from her last surgery in Nov. last year to remove kidney stones. At that time they said not to worry about it, now they say she needs to see a cardiologist - it is very dangerous for her to undergo general anesthesia, but she must for this emergency surgery. She also has chronic canine hepatitis for which there is no cure, which she is on a special diet for and meds. We are begging for prayers from anyone for dear, sweet Sonia. She is a child to me and has gone through so much lately. We found her abandoned a few years ago, and she has been a true "gift and blessing from God Almighty". Please pray that God will allow us to have more time with her and that she will have a miraculous healing by His Divine Mercy and Grace. God Bless You All.

Sally
Update: thanks so much for your continued prayers. Sally came home yesterday, however she was in so much pain, we took her back to the hospital and they discovered the pin in her pelvis came out. She will have surgery again tomorrow morning. Please keep praying for her and also that her nerves controlling her urination and bowel movements will heal. She’s trying so hard and we just can’t give up on her. Thanks again,
Jean, Doug and Douglas
     (June 14)

Update: Thank you so much for praying for Sally. The first part of her surgery was to determine if there was severe nerve damage. If so, the doctors and our family agreed to let her go. But thanks to your prayers, the doctors said that the nerves were only inflamed and continued with the rest of her surgery to repair her broken pelvis and broken tail. They had to amputate her tail, but that’s OK, that makes her our extra special Beagle. So for now things are looking well. Thank you again for your prayers. Sincerely Yours,
Jean, Doug and Douglas

Sally was hit by a car. She has a broken pelvis and tail, which can be repaired. The doctors fear there is some nerve damage. She will be having surgery tomorrow. Please pray that there is no nerve damage and her life can be saved.

Hoover
UPDATE: Hoover's not doing so well. Blood work shows he's got advanced liver disease. I refuse to put him through all the poking/prodding/putting him out for more extensive tests to find out exactly what kind. At 13 years old, I think he's earned the right to be as happy and comfortable as I can make him for as long as he wants to stay with me. I know I don't get to keep him forever, but oh, how I wish and pray for just a little while longer. I know, I know, it's God's will, not mine. And every day is a gift.
Michaelyn
(July 7)

UPDATE: Hoover had a good night and has resumed eating. I feel so grateful to you.
What can I do to give back? Please let me know. And thank you again.

(June 11)

I am having a difficult time coping with the aging of my beautiful, beloved English Springer Spaniel, Hoover. He is almost 13 years, and has always been a voracious eater. He's just lost his appetite, & I am so afraid he's preparing himself to leave me. I've told him that it's OK if he has to go, but I am so afraid and so sad. Please pray for him not to be in pain. Thank you.

Mingming
Please pray for my cat Mingming who died today after giving birth to 4 colorful kittens. She was a stray cat in my university where I adopted her. She had given us 8 years of joy and in return we treated her as our baby. It is very hard to accept her death! I will always miss her. Her kittens are so weak and 2 of them died. Please also pray for the 2 other kittens who are still alive and did not even tasted their mom´s milk. I hope we will not lose them. They will only be the left remembrance of Mingming for us. Thanks to all of you !!!

Batty
UPDATE: Thank you for your prayers and support for my kitten Batty. I wanted you to know that Batty died in my arms last night at 9:30. Her breathing was short and rapid and she was listless throughout the day...it has been a devastating time. Part of me feels that God said no to all the prayers that were made for her. I'm just very discouraged in my faith right now. She was 1 & 1/2 ....she didn't deserve to have this happen to her. I don't know where to go from here right now. My faith has been tested in more ways than one in the course of my life [and I know there are a lot of people experiencing this as well--I feel for them], I just don't know if prayers work anymore. I have one more prayer that I've sent out there...and I wonder whether God will say no to that as well... I convinced myself so much that we could win this battle with cancer. I'm left empty right now...what should I do?
Anyway, thanks for having your lovely site, I've learned in this past week that there are so many people [strangers] that cared enough to reach out to me for Batty. You have provided a beautiful thing with your site--helping people with love.
Although she was just a cat--she was my baby...and her brother is in a depression now looking for her. Again, thank you for everything.

My one and a half year old kitten has lymphoma cancer {it’s in her lungs and stomach} so they’re not giving much hope saying probably only a year she’ll live if the chemo works. But I refuse to believe that—to me losing her is not an option in my mind. I hope and pray she makes it through…she’s on her 4th week of chemo. I pray to St. Francis of Assisi for her everyday. I could use all the prayers I can get. I love her so much. Could you please help pray for her?

Lexi
I found your prayer site on the net and am coming to you with a very important request.
We lost our kitty baby Mittens about 15 months ago. He was really my daughter Alissa's cat, but we all loved him. About a year ago, Alissa adopted another baby....and named her Lexi. Lexi was the offspring of a neighborhood stray that we put food out for. Lexi has developed an auto-immune disease, which has left her with a fever and a scaly rash. Thus far, medications (steroids, antibiotics, etc) have done little to stifle it. We just returned from taking her back for one last round of steroids. If we lose Lexi, it will absolutely devastate Alissa. It will also bring back the recent loss about 9 months ago of our dear dog Frosty.
I am asking you to please pray a healing prayer for Lexi. I want my children to see the healing power of God in action again before their very eyes. It would once and for all reinforce that God does answer prayer. Please pray...for Lexi, and for our family as we face this challenge.
Thank you, and God bless you! Sincerely,
Dan Rhoten

Diesel
Sorry I''ve taken so long to update you about Diesel. He is doing great! I've enclosed a couple of pictures so you see how much happiness he brings to our lives. The picture of a girl holding him is my granddaughter that he belongs to. He still loves to eat yogurt and about anything the granddaughter eats. I'll always remenber everyone who prayed for Diesel. And I thank God everyday for the happiness that He has allowed us all to have. Thank you all again for all of your prayers.

Cricket
Please say a prayer for my heartdog, Cricket. She is 11.5 y/o and critically ill with an unknown liver disorder. She is a wonderful, smart miniature pinscher that means the world to my husband and me. Please pray for her healing and that God will ease her pain and give me insight into helping her heal. Thank you.

Gomez
Please pray for my cat Gomez. He was diagnosed today with feline leukemia, feline aids, severe anemia, and an upper respiratory infection. He is an old cat that I have been feeding for 10 years and have just been able to get close to him in the last year. He has had a hard life but now he is in the house and will have no worries for whatever time he has left. I hope he will improve enough to enjoy the love I have for him. I am so happy he came to me for help and I know with prayers he will have the best chance. Thank you all so much,
Donna

Please pray for my dog Fletcher who has severe anemia. Doug  (April 29)

Sam
Please pray for Sam my outside stray male cat that was shot about 2 months ago by a neighbor.
I took him in afterwards and he is partially paralyzed in one back leg. He was doing fine until recently he developed a very bad urinary tract infection that has done some damage to his bladder. We are just waiting to see if he is going to be ok, but it does not look good. This cat has brought me so much love it is very very difficult to imagine my life without him even though I have had him for only 2 short months. He loves me unconditionally! Currently he is having a difficult time using his bladder and if he does not improve I will have to put him down. Please send your prayers out to Sam. He is very special to me and I just want to be able to do right by him, making the best decisions for him. Please send him your prayers!!!!

Sadie
Our cat Sadie has lived with us through seven years, of college, moving, new jobs, and our 1 year old son Michael. She is very ill. We are taking her for a blood transfusion tomorrow. She is anemic and through every test we have ruled out this or that. She is a wonderful friend and a dear part of our family. I can only pray now as the vet does not know what is wrong and believe her bone marrow may not be actively producing red blood cells. In God I pray, for health. Please say a prayer for her… God speed,
Tony

CindoBela
Thanks to God, CindoBela is still doing well. It's almost 2 years since her 3 month to live diagnosis. I still ask you to offer up a prayer for her healing. She is still feline leukemia positive and anything can happen. She still needs prayers.

Clarrie
It is with deep sadness that I am writing to tell you that while Clarrie remained underweight after her bout with undiagnosed problems in spite of much testing....and from the effects of an antibiotic prescribed for a urinary infection, she was eating and drinking well and her bodily functions were fine; she was a little unsteady in gait, but was able to walk up and downstairs with no problems and seemed quite content, she became very ill in the early evening of Wednesday, April 13th, CDT and I did not think she would live till morning...She could not even keep water down and suffered some sort of partial paralysis of her hind legs....I made an appointment to have her euthanized Friday morning, April 15, CDT, if she lived through the night on Thursday. She must have been a real fighter because though at times she was in such a deep sleep I thought she had died, she still sat up as best as she could manage on Friday morning and responded when petted...I don't know her exact age because she was a stray in early life, but I feel it was closer to 18 than 17, as a vet had estimated, and she had been a very healthy cat before problems occurred last September...I will miss her dearly. I thank everyone who prayed for her and I found the prayers gave me great stength to endure the very hectic past week...

Yoda
Please could anyone pray from my beautiful cat, Yoda who has recently been diagnosed with a brain tumour and she also has chronic sinusitis. She has helped me through the last 14 years and been a constant source of unconditional love and light. Although to some she may sound like a lost cause, I feel that now it is not the right time for her to pass over, and so would ask for help to try to heal her. I thank all that is good for sites like this and truly appreciate any healing thoughts and prayers which you may send. With many blessings.

2 Kittens
I have rescued 2 kittens that were born in my back yard. their mother was a stray and died the day after giving birth. I've been hand feeding them every few hours and have become very attached to them. they have their own personalities and are very sweet. my little boy seems to have gotten some milk in his lungs. this can cause pneumonia and he would die. he coughs/chokes and it's difficult to feed him, so he's not getting enough food either. if you could please pray for the health of my 2 six day old kitties. they are two beautiful souls. thank you - God bless

Oscar
UPDATE: Oscar was sadly put to rest yesterday after taking a turn for the worse after a 3 days where it looked like he was picking up; maybe the prayers were answered in the short term, as he returned to his more active self in this short time. He took a real turn for the worse during the night on Thursday and collapsed on the vet's table on Friday morning through sheer weakness.
Oscar will never be forgotten and I feel as if the bottom of my world has fallen out at the moment. Thank you again for your prayers and I will continue to pray for Oscar in his passing and for all the other animals.

(April 17)

Please pray for my loving cat Oscar who is an 11 year old ginger cat. He suffers from IBD and had been diagnosed with kidney failure which is under treatment and controlled at the moment. But he has now developed aneamia and it does not look good he has lost a third of his body weight despite eating and drinking and his legs are weak. I have increased his steroid dose to 1
a day and need him to improve by Monday the 11th April or may have to make a very hard decision.
Thank you for this site.

Topaz
Our cat, Topaz is sick and is will only eat baby food and drink a little water. We agreed to take her from my brother last year because he got another cat who tormented her. She's been just fine and until recently when we had to leave her for three days at a cat condo. Since we returned she lost interest in her food and now She is weak and is getting worse. We can't afford the extensive medical tests needed to figure out what is wrong. Please pray if for her to recover and not to suffer. She is making an effort to get well and we are fond of her. She seemed to be making some progress but lately it's not looking good. We are used to caring for dogs and need a miracle for this small cat who is at least 11-12 years old. She was adopted in 2003 from a shelter and is a sweet cat who deserves another chance. Thanks.

(April 1)

Sam
Please pray for my boy Sam. He is a stray feral cat that came to our house 5 years ago, has lived outside and free and wild and loving life until a neighbor shot him 2 weeks ago. The bullet shattered and did damage to his spine. He is paralyzed in his back legs. He has a little movement in one of his back legs, but the other is completely paralyzed. He has some control over his bodily functions, but not at all times. The vet says he may regain movement in his legs, but time will tell. The cat never had human contact, but I visited him in the vet twice and each time all he wanted me to do was to hold him and pet him. I brought him home today and he lives inside now. He does not want me to get out of his sight. It is so amazing, he never knew human contact, but can't seem to get enough of my love right now. Please pray for him to get better! Thank you,
Terri

Jack
UPDATE: So sorry to have to tell you that sadly Jack died. It turned out he had toxoplasmosis and hadn't really ever had a chance. Our only consolation is that during his short life on earth he knew so much love and now he is at peace. Thank you for your prayers.
Winifred
 (April 1)

For little Jack in Australia that he doesn't have to lose his eye and that he can finally be fit and well again. Little Jack is a 14 week old kitten who lives with our friends Pat and Brian in Australia. He was very small at birth and had ringworm and now has fluid behind the eye and other associated problems which the vet is treating but they fear he may lose his eye. He is loved so much. Thank you for your prayers.

Smokey
UPDATE: I want to thank you for putting my Smokey on your prayer list. He is getting better. Thank you all for praying!
Gorgia

 (March 31)

Some horrible animal attacked Smokey on Easter Sunday. He is a mess. He has lost all his hair on his neck and the one side of his cheek, he lost his hair and his skin. The poor thing looks awful. He is eating and drinking. The vet gave him a shot and gave me antibiotics which he must take twice a day. Please pray for his recovery. I would be lost without him. We have been thru so much in the last 12 years.

AJ
UPDATE: Thank you for your prayers ... AJ seems to be improving very slowly (hardly dare to hope!). He is still very thin and weak but looking and behaving in a much more perky and interested manner and eating and drinking well. Thank You, Lord and we pray for his continued improvement.  (May 13)

UPDATE: AJ is not doing so well at the moment. Although he is eating quite well and drinking (a great deal of water) he spends most of his time sleeping and is fairly weak. He doesn't appear to be in any pain and at times he almost seems to act normally, except for having lost a lot of weight. I think we will just have to see how it goes - I still believe in miracles so we will just wait for a while before having to make a painful decision. Please keep praying!  (April 17)

UPDATE: AJ is home from the vet's, much improved .. being on the drip for a couple of days has helped a great deal. We pray now that his kidneys will function normally and that he will continue to improve. Thank you so much for praying!
God bless.
 (March 28)

We'd like to ask for prayers for our own cat AJ - he is now 13 years old and a most loveable character. During the past few weeks he has lost a lot of weight and is not looking at all well. At the moment he is at the vet's having tests. Please pray that all will be well and that the Lord will allow us to have him with us for a few more years. Thank you and God bless you.

Sophie
UPDATE: I just want to let you all know that Sophie is
