Umlaut
UPDATE: Thank you so much. Umlaut seems to be doing better today.
His breathing is within acceptable limits, and he's eating well.
Thanks for all your prayers and for putting him on your website.

Miracle
My name is Fiona. I just adopted a 3 month old golden from an animal shelter. She is a Christmas gift to my mother. I am asking for everyone's prayers. She was diagnosed with coccidiosis, a fatal disease mostly found on farms. she's not eating, barely drinking and is helpless. I have taken her to the vet 4 times since Saturday the 11th. I am trying so hard to save her life. She is supposed to go home to NY on the 23rd. I am in the Marine Corps stationed in NC. I am praying she will get better so she can go to her loving, caring home. Please everyone pray for the little one.
Miracle's owner, Fiona

Murphy
Please pray for my toy poodle Murphy. I am having such a difficult time thinking that I may have to let him go. We are waiting for the results of his tests but he is eating so very little and has not consumed any water in 2 days.He will be 13 years old in a few weeks. He has been a gift from God and has filled my life with love and joy. He is my little boy.

Clarrie
UPDATE: Was ready to have Clarrie put down almost two weeks ago and an animal rehabiliation specialist who is also a friend, asked me to give her another chance by trying an herbal formula. Her condition is very unstable; better and worse; never consistant. Please pray for wisdom and guidance for the right decision. Ever since the antibiotic treatment, she has had problems with any weight gain which she deperately needs. Thank you with prayers and blessings for you and all the dear creatures. J.     (October22)

Cricket
UPDATE: This is an update on our Cocker Spaniel, Cricket. Thank you for adding her to the prayer lists. God called Cricket home this past Monday. Her liver was failing. He heard all the prayers and healed her in the best way for her. Let us praise God that His wonderful and perfect love even covers our pets. We will have an eternity with them! Thank you.
Linda     (November 28)

Please pray for our ten year old cocker spaniel, Cricket. She was taken to the vet
today and x-ray showed a liver that has enlarged double its size. The liver will be biopsied on Monday to determine if it is cancer. I am praying it is not cancer and can be treated. Thank you for your intercession.

Linda     (November 20)

Cricket
UPDATE: Thank you so much for your prayers. Something just told me to go hold little Cricket, so I picked him up and prayed deeply for him and he passed away in my hands. I am so sad, but so thankful he was able to die here at home. It was a miracle I was with him and I know your prayers helped. God Bless You,
Susan and Cricket  (
November 15)

Could you please pray for my sweet little canary, Cricket? He has a tumour and I want to make sure he is not suffering. He has been eating well, but today he seems to be feeling worse. I want to make sure I am not lettting him suffer. He has brought such joy into our lives with his cheerful singing and trusting dispostition. This is especially difficult because my beloved cockatiel Ashleigh just passed away a month ago. She was twenty yrs. old and my heart is broken.
Thank you again,
Susan (

Cash

Update: Although tests results are not back yet, HE IS HOME!!!! Able to drink on his own (very little at a time), and able to eat some. He's lost a lot of weight, but I believe he's turned the corner. Not out of woods yet, but I believe he's on the way back.
I do believe in the power of corporate prayer, and it seems to me that things started improving about the time you got the request up on the website.

Would like to hear from all that were praying for him.

Update: He is now at a veterinary specialty clinic. As alert as ever, but still cannot swallow. And we've been riding an emotional roller coaster since last Friday. Several tests today and tomorrow, but no indication so far of what's wrong.
Please continue in prayer.
Thank you.

Tiny
My 7th month kitty Tiny is awaiting results of blood tests. The vet suspects FIP. I believe in the power of prayer and in God's promise of healing. I am trusting in my Lord that her results will all be negative and that I will enjoy my Tiny for many years to come.

Seymour
Hello! I wrote to you in August to please pray for my cat Seymour, who had recently lost his 16 yr old sister and seemed to be taking it very hard. I appreciate all the prayers and I'm sure that's what kept him going as long as it did. He lost the battle on Wednesday Oct 27 after living a happy 16 yrs. The Dr had originally said he wouldn't make it through the weekend and that was in August! He was diagnosed with severe arthritis and a hugh mass near the heart. My husband and I took care of him and hydrated him with an IV when we were told that may help.

He improved his eating and even started to gain some weight. The arthritis had gotten worse and he had trouble walking and getting around, but carried him wherever and always kept him with us so he would not be afraid. I think he got comfort just hearing our voices. He was a real fighter and purred till the end, a constant joy to us. His daddy has had back surgery and was having some problems. He had a Dr appt and we argued about whether or not I should drive him or stay with the cat. After 4 months of caring for Seymour's needs he just meowed at me sneezed and started to choke. I tried to lift him so he could breathe and he just looked at me coughed and died. As if to say "don't argue take care of daddy now". We will miss him everyday till we meet again at "The Rainbow Bridge." Thank you so much for this wonderful site. I pray for all God's defenseless animals and their loving companions.

Taffy
I believe in the power of prayer and I need support for my beloved loyal friend Taffy. She’s 13 years old and a mixed wire-haired terrier. She has survived mast cell cancer for almost 7 years and an acute bout of pancreatitis 4 months ago. I went to the vet today to primarily treat a skin problem for my other dog Brandi and then I asked him to give Taffy a check-up. He discovered swollen lymph nodes in her neck and her hind leg. She has a slight rise in temperature but other than that, she has displayed no other symptoms. He aspirated one of the nodes and took some blood work. He told me her test results would be back on Friday, Oct. 29th but he suspects lymphoma carcinoma. My heart is breaking right now and I feel like all of this is surreal. Please please say a prayer for Taffy. I love her so much and can’t imagine life without her.

(October 28)

Brandy
UPDATE: Please continue your prayers for Brandy. We just got back from the Vet, and it looks like the Mast Cell Cancer is spreading. His lymph nodes appear to be affected. The prognosis right now is 2 - 6 months. I haven't given up yet, no matter what the Dr. says. Prayer is more powerful than cancer. Thanks to all of you.
Ann Marie
(October 13)

Please pray for my 8 year old, mixed breed dog, named Brandy. Brandy was diagnosed on October 6, 2004, with Stage 2, Mast Cell Cancer. Right now, his prognosis is not very good. The vet says 6 weeks to 6 months, but prayer is powerful and no miracle is too small for God to perform. Please pray for a miracle in Brand's life. Thank you, in advance, for your prayers.

(October 8)

Macie
UPDATE: This is Kathy from Ohio again asking for prayers for my Golden Macie. She had been responding favorably to her medications, but for the last 2 weeks now her red blood cell count has been going down again and she is getting more tired and weak. Please pray that she responds to the increase in medications and that she beats this awful disease. It is so discouraging, but set backs happen. I am counting on prayers again to pull her through. Thank you all.  (November 4)

UPDATE: Just writing to request continued prayers for my Golden Macie who has hemolytic anemia. She had more bloodwork and she has had an increase in her red blood cell count of 4% this is a total of 7% in 2 weeks. She is half way to a normal count. She is still very weak, but has noticeable improvement. She has a long way to go, but with prayers I know she can make it.
I thank God daily for letting me have her for a while longer. She is so young. Thank you for the prayers they are working miracles. Kathy in Ohio
   (October 14)

Please pray for my 5 year old golden retriever Macie. She has been battling immune mediated hemolytic anemia. I almost lost her a few weeks ago and I believe only through prayers did she make it through a blood transfusion and emergency surgery to remove her spleen. She now is on Prednisone and Imuran to hopefully stop her immune system from destroying her red blood cells. This is her second round of meds tried. Please pray that she goes into remission, gets her red blood cells within the normal range and is healed of this devastating disease. She is my little love and such a good dog. I pray to have her healthy and happy for many more years.
Thank you and God Bless. Kathy in Ohio
(October 3)

Jude
Once again I turn to you for help. A year ago it was for a ridgeback called Aaron. He is still perfectly okay thanks to you. 5 month ago it was for my own beloved ridgeback but he didn't make it. Sometimes its their time to go even if we desperately cling on to them not wanting to let go!! I miss him every day.
This time I would like to ask you to put a 5 year old labrador bitch called Jude on your praying list. She has just been diagnosed with a inop. brain tumor. She of course means the world to her elderly owner who is very distraught about losing her.
Miracles happens all the time, so please pray for her.
With love
Lena

Clarrie
UPDATE: Clarrie's bowels are normalized with an acidophilus capsule daily. However, she is not eating enough and being very picky no matter what food I have tried. She very definitely is underweight and needs to gain weight in order to get back on track to healing. An animal rehabilitation specialist and I are going to try a liquid formula to help rejuvenate her liver and stimulate her immune system. She still needs lots of prayers; I am very worried about her lack of progress. Thanks.... God bless you and all the dear creatures who need healing and prayer. Hugs, J   (October22)

UPDATE: The antibiotic made her too ill to continue; she continues to have problems with eating and loose bowels and needs more prayers. Thanks for prayers and I really don't know what to do; am going to keep looking for answers and talk to an alternative animal specialist again. Thanks .....hugs and prayers to all.
J
(October 7)

UPDATE: Thursday, September 23 and Thursday night (CDT) were horrible times for both Clarrie and me; she ate and drank but wouldn't sleep and kept pacing and meowing to be let outside though I couldn't let her out because of her abnormal behavior. I was exhausted and feeling very sorry for her. On Friday morning I made an appointment to see the vet for that afternoon. I was at the point where I thought it might be more humane to have her put to sleep though that is the last thing I wanted to do. A vet tech and animal massage specialist asked me to wait and see if some special herbs (Bach flower remedy) that she would deliver on Saturday afternoon would help calm her down. The vet wanted to do more tests and x-rays, but I declined, because I felt that Clarrie had been through enough trauma already. She stated that the internal medicine vet whom I have worked with previously said that she definitely did not have hyperthyroidism and we decided that perhaps she had suffered a mini stroke. I asked if she could prescribe some mild sedation so the poor cat could rest a little and so could I. She did and though Clarrie was kind of woozy she still ate and drank and didn't really sleep but rested some. She was a little more settled and very tired on Saturday. On Saturday night I noted some blood in her urine and that she was urinating outside of the litter box. We were not able to be seen till Monday afternoon because of many emergencies that my vet who was on call all weekend encountered. On Monday afternoon, Sept.
27, we saw another of the vets on staff and he drew a urine sample for testing. She did not have crystals in the urine, thank the Lord, but showed strains of three kinds of bacteria. She was placed on an antibiotic for 2 weeks and is not very happy about being "pilled" but was well behaved at the vet's office. She is more settled now although not sleeping as much as normal. Unfortunately after 2 days of treatment, she developed loose stools and since she needs the treatment, I have her on a special food and enzyme powder which should help normalize her bowel movements. We still need lots of prayer because we have a long ways to go before treatment is complete. We will just have to take it step by step and pray for the best. I will be reporting any developments to the vet I saw Monday, on Friday October 1 (CDT)
Thank you for all the prayers and I will continue to pray for all the dear creatures.
J
(September 30)

UPDATE: Tests done on Clarrie on Tuesday did not yield information we expected. Please keep praying; something is very wrong, but so far undiagnosed. She is pacing, unsettled and very underweight. Thanks so much for prayers; you are and all the dear creatures are in mine.
God Bless you and all who are praying and need prayer.

J
(September 23)

Please pray for and ask others to pray for Clarrie my black cat whom we have had for over 15 and a half years; she was a stray who came to my son's apartment during the cold of November, many years ago. We adopted her after a few weeks because his apartment was so small. The vet estimated her age at 9 months then, but I think she was much older by seeing the wear on the pads of her feet. So she is probably close to 17 at least. She was doing well at her checkup time in July but recently began to lose weight. I have been giving her a nutritional supplement and extra special food. She seemed to be doing better but today is not looking well though she is eating and drinking. Please pray about this whole situation. My own health is poor which makes things more difficult all the way around. I will pray for all the dear creatures who need healing.
J    (September 19)

Derek
I am once again requesting prayers for my cocker spaniel, Derek. Derek suffers from sores in his mouth and gets them about every other month. Last Friday I took him to his vet and he gave him the antibiotics that he's been giving him since January. This time the antibiotic and the penicillin shot did not help my poor baby. Derek is always a happy baby. He walks around the house with a toy in his mouth. For the past 2 weeks my baby has been down and not playing.

Yesterday I called the vet and told him that Derek is not getting better. The odor in mouth keeps getting worse and he can only eat can food (he eats can food and dry as well). I know he is hungry and wants to eat hard food. The vet gave him new antibiotics to try for a week. If they don't help him he wants to see him on Friday. Please pray that my baby gets better soon. He is my baby.
I rescued Derek 2 years ago and he was paralyzed due to an injury that his previous owners claimed was an accident. Derek has been through a lot in the past two years (even through 2 hurricanes in one month). He learned to walk with me and had to wear diapers for a year because he had lost control of his bowel movements. Today Derek walks (with a little wobble, but he walks) and goes out to potty. He has learned to let us know when he has to go. I want my baby back to the way he was. I hope and pray that this new antibiotics work. Thanks for your prayers in advance.
Yolanda and Derek

Poppy
I would like to ask for prayers to be said for my little Yorkie Poppy. She has already had surgery for a dislocated kneecap and now faces more surgery on the same leg for a torn cruciate ligament. When Poppy had her last op, she caught haemoragic gastroenteritis and we nearly lost her, which is why we are dreading this forthcoming op.
Poppy means everything to her dad and I. She is the most loving, beautiful natured dog you could ever imagine and we would be lost without her.
My last dog, Harry, used to receive distant healing, which was fantastic but the wonderful woman who did this for him has since died.
Thank you all for your help, and I will pray for all of your ailing pets too. God Bless
.

CindoBela
Just wanted to leave a positive update on my cat, CindoBela. She got to celebrate her 3rd birthday this month! She's been doing really well. I would like to thank everyone for your prayers and please continue to pray for her. Feline leukemia is a very serious disease. She's already lived past the life expectancy. We want Cindo to live with us for a very long time, and be healthy.
I know it's possible. I pray for her everyday.

Amos
UPDATE: I just wanted to thank you for your prayers for Amos last week. The prayers all have been answered and surgery was a success! Thank you! I will visit your website often and keep the animals in my prayers.

(September 16)

Please pray for a precious dog, Amos. He is undergoing surgery on his knee for a second time at this moment. I pray for the doctor to repair every part in his knee, I want to pray for his complete healing, and give thanks for such a wonderful pet. Thank you!

Charlie
Charlie is my 15 year old beagle/Sheppard mix that has truly blessed my life. He is a wonderful dog. He had a growth removed from his lip of 9-3-04 and before they could do the surgery he had what appeared to be a seizure. The vet said that it is likely he has a brain tumor. We don't have much money to find out for sure, and he has had a long, wonderful life. I am crying just thinking about him leaving me, I have had him for half my life. My prayer is if he is going to leave me, please God let him pass on while he is sleeping. He is such a loving dog, and it tears my heart out to let him go ... I love you forever and ever Charlie!!

Kitty
Prayer request for Kitty, our tiny Himalayan cat of 15 1/2 years old. She was diagnosed with kidney failure in April. She has done marvelously with the prescribed treatments since and we have enjoyed this special time with her. Then in recent days she has weakened substantially without warning. The vet believes she can pull through and live for a long time to come. She started to improve earlier today and then this evening was at her weakest we've seen. Kitty is an amazingly devoted, loving, considerate, gentle and intelligent being who has always loved life immensely. She has been a source of many wonderful surprises. Our family extends gratitude to those who wish to pray for dear Kitty. Of all the pets our family has had over the years, our beautiful Kitty has been without question, an extremely dear friend and companion with the most remarkable of qualities.

Sophie
UPDATE: Tears are pouring down my face as I write this. In all my life I have never felt as empty and heartbroken as I do now. My most precious darling Sophie died in the night, alone in a cage at a veterinary surgery. I am beside myself with grief. Out of the many hundreds I have known, there has never been a cat that was so totally trusting and understanding; her eyes said everything. I have never experienced this total rapport with any other. I hate myself and am so angry that above all I should have been with her. She is gone and I never got to say goodbye. I have experienced death many, many times in my life, of my family, friends and my own and others' loved companions, but I can truly say this is the worst experience ever; I am so totally devastated to the depths of my heart and soul.
As I looked at the posting about Sophie and Elsa and all the other darlings in the early hours of this morning, Grommit was all over me, which is unlike him; when Sophie would come for a cuddle Grommit would never fail to come and try and get between us, like a jealous child. He doesn't usually come on his own for a cuddle, but he was really pushy and kept getting in front of my monitor while I tried to read all the prayers, and I said to him, "why are you so attentive; do you know something I don't?" I believe he knew and was trying to comfort me, but I didn't know, not until this morning at 9 a.m. I honestly believe he sensed her passing and came to try and comfort me, or that Sophie was here and he was doing his usual thing of trying to get between us. Either way, he knew something I'm sure.
God bless and thank you and everyone who have prayed for my babies.
Anne, Elsa and all my darlings.

(September 6)

Sophie, my soul mate, had cat flu really bad when she was only a few months old and I almost lost her. She was put on an I.V. for several days before she began to recover, but she has always retained what I refer to as the snuffles. flu symptoms come and go in varying degrees of severity and have done for her whole life, she is now 8 and a half years. This summer has been particularly bad around here for Clamidia and cat flu.. the weather has been appalling heavy rain and sometimes low temperatures one day, extremely hot and dry the next, this has gone on all Summer and I'm sure it has contributed to the airborne virus' multiplying and mutating because Sophie became quite ill with thick nasal mucous which impedes her breathing. I started her on antibiotics as soon as I noticed she was losing weight, (she is never free from some mucous, the severity varies so much but it has never made her ill to the point she stopped eating) Within a week weight was dropping off her and the antibiotics didn't seem to be helping so I took her into the vets and asked for her to be put on an I.V. drip as by then she was starting to dehydrate. She hadn't been like that since she first contracted flu. She was hospitalised for 24 hours on Tuesday. On Wednesday I brought her home on different antibiotics and other anti inflammatory medication. She had supposedly eaten a little that day but when I got her home she refused to eat or drink a thing and I resorted to force feeding her through a syringe with a liquid convalescent food, but I could not get her to take enough to stop her becoming dehydrated again. I found myself at the vets at 1am this morning, she was so ill I thought I was going to lose her there and then. He could not get a vein pronounced enough in order to I.V. her and I became distraught, he gave her oxygen as her colour was almost non existent and after 3 failed attempts in 3 different legs to get an I.V. up and running she became stressed and her breathing almost stopped, she offered no resistance whatsoever. The vet left and returned to the room 3 times in just a couple of minutes and then told me he had sent for back up. The vet he called was the one who had treated her earlier in the week. I was asked to leave the room. Birgit did her best to get the I.V. running without success but she did mange to get a small amount of blood to test. I was given almost no hope from the results but I begged her to try and get fluid into her somehow and try to keep her going until they could get a vein large enough to put her on an I.V. She went back inside and a few minutes later she told me she had managed to do the drip and was going to give her a cocktail of different medication. but her words were not optimistic. I left the surgery at 3.30am
It is 10.30 am here now and the Sunday emergency surgery will have just started. I am dreading the phone call that I'm expecting any time. I am praying very hard that my very, best friend and soul mate will have held on and is fighting. I'm terrified at this moment, but one thing I can hold onto is the longer it take's for that call to come the better the news. They would have rung me immediately the surgery started I'm sure if she had not made it through these last few agonising hours.
Please pray for her.. I don't know what I would do without my very, very, special friend. kindest regards

Elsa
I'm delighted to tell you she is still here and very much better than she was. I think that the medication she is taking is keeping her from deteriorating and has also improved her mobility and general demeanour. She still has enlarged lymph glands and I don't know yet if her liver is still enlarged, or if the growth in her throat has changed in any way as it's a few weeks now since she was last scanned and
X-Rayed. She was put onto a drug called Imuran, it's considered an anti cancer drug. She was taken off antibiotics because her leg had almost healed, at that point she had already been taking them for 2 months, she still takes prednisilone. About 4 weeks from starting the Imuran she is acting normally regarding her mobility etc, she is bright , quite alert, makes a fuss of visitors and can even jump into the car unaided. She looks very old in her face and reminds me of an elderly person who is bordering on senility but I cannot believe how she has improved.

Her vet hasn't seen her for a couple of weeks because she has been away on holiday, Elsa had been on the Imuran about 2 weeks when she last saw her and although she had improved a little which I'm sure the vet was amazed at anyway, she has come on in leaps and bounds since, so I can't wait to take her in next week, Louise, her vet, I'm sure will be totally stunned, considering she REALLY wanted me to have her put to sleep over 2 months ago. I hope Elsa's case will in future come into her mind the next time she sees an animal in similar circumstances, and that she holds back on her advice to "put to sleep", and she gives the animals a little more time.
I'm sure all your prayers have played a HUGE part in her recovery, and that subconsciously I have been led down the path and made the right decisions, when my mind was in turmoil and I really was teetering on the brink of taking the vet's advice.
I have attached 2 photo's I took a couple of days ago, she is looking a little pensive when you study the position of her ears, but she always does that if I'm looking at her or talking to her because she thinks I'm going to start doing something treatment wise, she normally looks much more relaxed with her ears up and alert.

Seymour
Hello. I wrote to you a few months ago with a prayer request for my cat Sissy. She passed away, as I wrote and told you, but her brother Seymour is having difficulties lately now also. He too is 16 years old but until now he has been quite active and happy. He just hasn't been the same, understandably, since losing Sissy. I know he misses her but I'm concerned with his lost of appetite and limping there may be more problems then we realize.

I brought him to the vet who says he may have arthritis and hat his kidneys aren't functioning properly. I tried the special diet but now he won't eat at all. I'm concerned that I may lose him too, 2 months after Sissy passed. There must be something that can be done and I will take him to another vet for another opinion but right now he needs all the prayers possible. He already has the love.
Thanks again and God Bless.

Raider
UPDATE: Well I just spoke to Mindy and it appears that her little Raider (who is 9 years old) is not doing too well. Evidently it is not kidney stones. It is some kind of crystals that have formed around his urethra and he can't urinate on his own. It's almost like he forgot how to. So they have a catheter in him right now. No mention of surgery right now. They are leaving a catheter in him all day today in the hopes that tomorrow he will be able to go on his own. I guess his little bladder is swollen from the backup. Please, please, please ask everyone for extra prayers for him. The vet said that he may not make it! My friend has a son who is leaving for Iraq in a week and she has so much to deal with right now that if she loses Raider I don't know what she will do!!

(August 20)

One of my best friend's cat is in the hospital right now. His name is Raider and his owner's name is Mindy. Mindy noticed that he was starting to vomit a lot and drinking a lot of water but not going to the bathroom. When she brought him in to see the vet, they told her that there was a definite blockage in his little bladder which was preventing him from peeing and therefore the urine was backing up. They put a catheter into him to try to drain the liquid out. He is now in the hospital having surgery done. It would be wonderful if we said a prayer for Raider to get well and to come home to Mindy soon. Thank you so much and God bless you.

Sparkle
UPDATE - If you remember, I asked for your prayers for a beautiful kitty by the name of Sparkle that was found outside of a bank where Susie works. At the time Sparkle was malnourished, dehydrated and very dirty and in very bad shape. After having spent an entire week in the hospital I am now happy to report that he is now in a very loving home. Susie adopted him and he is now eating and drinking, purring and grooming himself. The only remnant of his ordeal is that he as a slight neurological problem in that he tends to lose his balance but quickly shakes it off. I want to thank you all for your prayers for Sparkle. Clearly the power of prayer is a strong and wonderful thing and definitely added in Sparkle's recovery.

A Tiger Kitten
My 8 week old tiger kitten has just been diagnosed with a congenital heart defect; she is scheduled for an ultrasound on Friday to determine how advanced it is.
We would appreciate prayers and any information anyone can give on this disease.

Thank You.

Maxx
UPDATE: Thank you so much. I think some of my prayers have been answered already. Maxx, after undergoing a lot of testing at a veterinary hospital at the University of Pennsylvania has been diagnosed with a kidney infection, possible beginnings of kidney disease, arthritis, and hip dysplasia but all ailments appear to be treatable and manageable. We are not out of the woods yet but he certainly appears to be feeling better than he has over the past 4 – 5 weeks.
Thank you so much and Blessings to all of you.

(August 12)

Maxx is an absolutely wonderful Labrador Retriever. Over the past month, his health has deteriorated at an alarming rate. He has been battling an infection of unknown origin, his arthritis has gotten worse, his cruciate ligaments are giving him a problem, and his kidneys and blood are not right. Through all of this, he has still been an excellent companion and has had a wonderful attitude. He is in the hospital today to undergo testing in an attempt to find the root cause of some of his ailments. Please pray for him. Thank you very much. Blessings to you.

Rascal
UPDATE: Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. We brought Rascal home today -- they said we would be extremely lucky if we have him with us for 2 months -- most likely a month at best. He needs all the prayers that we can send his way. And thank you for this site that can provide this support.
Kathy
(August 4)

Rascal is a sweet, lovable 6 1/2 year old golden retriever. I first held him when he was 3 days old,
I can't begin to express how special he is to my family and friends. In spite of all our efforts to keep him safe with tick control products, he contracted Lyme disease. He is now at the vets for IV treatments for nephritis of the kidney which we have been informed is almost always fatal. Please send your thoughts and prayers his way.

A wonderful Alpaca by the name of Raven needs your prayers. Her owner, Cherry is very distraught. Raven aborted on the first of July and they were trying to breed her again. She came down with peritonitis, which can be fatal in many cases. She's been at the vet's for a couple of days now. Please pray for her speedy recovery. I know that with your prayers, she will pull through. God bless you all!

Lula
I ask that you please pray for our puppy, Lula, who got scratched in the eye pretty severely by a cat. We have not had her but a couple of months and she is just the sweetest baby. We took her to the vet right away and with medication it appeared to be healing well. However, in the past two days it started getting progressively worse in appearance and she began to act lethargic and like she was in pain. She is at the vet's now and they tell me the eye does not look too good ( i.e. they don't know if it can be saved.) I believe in the miraculous healing power of prayer and ask that you please pray for her full recovery. I know all things are possible with God. Thank you,
Jordan Family

Chelsea the Standard Poodle and
4 little Kittens

While taking my sick Standard Poodle to the vet for x-rays for her liver disorder I saw a box under some bushes and heard some tiny cries. I looked inside and there were four little kittens about 3 weeks old.

The vet took them in. He is a kind compassionate man. Just the day before I told him to be on the lookout for a striped cat for my daughter. There were two striped and two black -- just what I ordered. I said I would help foster them and after they were checked out I went back and got them that night. I fed them round the clock with a bottle and on Saturday morning the littlest one seemed sick so I took her back to the vet and they said her blood sugar level had dropped but she should be fine and they kept her at the hospital.
I loved, cuddled and fed the three boys all weekend and returned them to the vet this morning because I had to work. The biggest boy did not want to eat the last two feedings but he was very playful and happy. My poodle also loved them. They cuddled with her. I called to see if they needed me to watch them during the night but was told that now it appears that all of them are sick because there was blood in the urine and stools and they are trying to find out what was wrong. Please pray for these little babies. We were going to adopt two of them. Also please pray for Chelsea the Standard Poodle. She has clogged bile ducts (she's had a liver problem since 1998) but now she is almost 12 and the liver disease is advancing. Her new medicine seems to be helping. Thanks, Kathy

Sparkle
A beautiful cat with long white hair and one green eye and one blue eye was found by a wonderful woman by the name of Susie just last Friday. The kitty was found outside of the bank where she works, starved to death and barely even able to walk. She took one look at him and although he was very dirty his eyes were beautiful and had a Sparkle in them ... so he has been given the name of "Sparkle". He was also found WITHOUT CLAWS!!! How horrifying!!! She picked him up and immediately brought him to the vet to be checked out. He tested negative for FIV and leukemia but he is severely dehydrated and malnourished and has pneumonia. The vet has put him on a high dosage of antibiotics and has kept him over the weekend. Even with the antibiotics he is still very weak, has diarrhea and on Saturday his temperature was only 93! This poor little darling needs all of our prayers. Perhaps together we can ask God to spare him and allow him to be able to find a worthy home and loving owner. Please pray for Sparkle. I know that I am. Thank you for your prayers. Kathy

An update on Misha.
Just wanted to tell you that we put Misha to sleep on Saturday. My husband took him to the vet and he said his liver was very inflamed probably due to cancer and his eyes were jaundiced. There was no point in trying to keep him alive any longer.
He was sitting on my knee this morning and growling like crazy at the other cats Bosco and Casey who were on the floor hanging around to be petted too and somehow I knew it was time. He must have been protecting himself to make sure the other cats couldn't hurt him more than he already was. When I touched him on the rear side he would growl at me too which he never did otherwise.
But he was a trooper till the end when he wanted his food, running down the stairs to get to the dish!!

At least now we know we did the right thing for him. And its time to give more attention to Bosco and Casey who no doubt wondered why Misha was getting all the attention lately.
Thank you so much for your emails and your prayers.

Misha
Please pray for my Misha. He is my beautiful 14 year old cat and he has been sick for the last few months. He is down to 10 pounds from 22. He eats and eats but has constant diarrhea so cannot gain any weight. The vet has not been able to find out what is wrong. One vet said "you might as well put him down now" 4 months ago but we changed vets instead. We are now feeding him boiled chicken and that has sort of worked up until this week. It is getting very difficult to handle. He has gotten very mean to his brothers and is constantly hissing at them. But he runs down the stairs to get to the food faster than I do.
We really wonder what to do with him. Is he maybe hurting and we are just prolonging his pain?
Or is it just something like food allergies and we just haven't found the solution yet? I am requesting everyone's prayers for my Misha to get better. Thank you so much.
Joyce

Sophie
Please would you pray for Sophie, our 14 year old tabby and white cat, who is due to have an operation to amputate both ears tomorrow because of skin cancer. Pray that the disease hasn't spread, the vet finds and removes all the cancer and Sophie has a speedy recovery. Thank you. God bless.

Cinnamon
UPDATE: This has been one of the worst weeks of my life. I meant to send out an announcement earlier this week but I couldn't bring myself to do it until now (barely). As you are all aware Cinnamon had been battling cancer for about 18 months now. A few of days ago, my husband Cliff and I made the difficult decision that it was time to let her go. She had not been her normal playful and chatty self for the last four weeks. Over the last six weeks, she started losing weight quickly. Two weeks ago, we found another cancerous lump. And last week it was discovered that her lungs were filling with fluid. During her last days, she was having difficulty walking straight and breathing normally and was eating less and less. Cinnamon passed away on Monday July 26 at 3:25pm in a roomful of people who loved her and were touched by her vivacious spirit and will deeply miss her.
Cinnamon was about ten years old. I had adopted her when she was only a few weeks old along with another cat Smokey who is in good health but also very much missing her life-long companion. Cinnamon has taught Cliff and me a number of important lessons and showered us and everyone who met her with a great deal of affection and joy. These lessons, the precious memories, the love we have for her, and the joy she gave us will enable her to live in our hearts forever.
This decision was one of the most difficult we have ever made because she was very much like a child to both of us - our baby, our little one. We miss her tremendously. It is very hard being at home because everywhere we look reminds us of her and the huge hole in our hearts and home. But today she is as she was in her youth. She can run, jump, play and do all of the things that she enjoyed doing. There is no sickness, no aching joints and no cancer. The grass is always green; butterflies flit among the flowers; and the Sun shines gently down upon all of God's creatures.
A very close friend shared this wonderful vision of Cinnamon: You know how you guys are always saying what a wonderful "greeter" she is? Well I can just see her in heaven at St. Peter's or Jesus' feet greeting all of the new souls as they come into God's throne room for the first time. She'll be GREAT at her new post!
May my precious "Cinna-mini" happily greet each of us when our turn comes at heaven's gates.
Thank you for prayers and support.

Cindy (July 30)

UPDATE: The lump came back as positive for cancerous but undefined type; however the doctor thinks the nodule/shadow we were seeing on her lung X-ray was actually this lump. She has just lost so much weight that we can now feel the lump. Her ultrasound came back clean and her blood work was "perfect." Right now, we are trying to see if there is anything we can do to get her to eat more and gain weight because that will help her energy but perhaps she has given up fighting and we need to let her go. again, thank you for your continued prayers. God bless,
Cindy
   (July 15)

My precious kitty, Cinnamon, is not doing well. March 2003, we discovered a lump on her front left that turn out to be fibrosacroma. We did radiation and chemotherapy but a lump returned to the site in September 2003. So, we had her leg amputated. She recovered amazing well from that. But then in March 2004 when we discover a nodule in her lung. six month after her front left leg amputation.
Well, she went in to the Vet yesterday. She lost another ½ pound in the last two weeks which puts her at 5lbs 14.5 oz. She had lost ½ pound over the previous month. While there, the techs discovered and biopsied a lump they discovered on the outside of her rib case this morning. They have her scheduled for an ultrasound on today to see if anything less is going on like metastasis or intestinal blockage because she is meowing very loudly when using the litter box.. Unfortunately, this isn't looking good.
Since she started with the "kitty cold" over 3 weeks ago, she hasn't been herself. She is doing much better than 3 weeks ago but she continues to lose weight and her energy is only 60% of what it was. She hasn't scratched or stretch on the scratching post in over three weeks. She isn't interest in playing whatsoever. However, she is still very interested in her favorite treat, petromalt. At this rate, we are expecting bad news from the tests. And with the weight lost I feel like something she eating away at her and she isn't fighting anymore - she's too tired. Although last night her energy really picked up and she was following me over all the house. But I remember a friend of mine who died of cancer. A couple weeks before he died seemed like he was making a huge turn around but it was just the last rally.
So, I don't know how much longer Cinnamon is going to be around, a few weeks max... I think. My husband and I are starting to make plans. I would love to be wrong and to have it be a simple explanation that is correctable but I don't know. My biggest fear is of giving up too early or hanging on to her too long. It's hard to tell via email but I'm crying the whole through typing this.
Thank you for your prayers.

Tara
I just wanted to update you and the great people who pray for us on my dog Tara's condition. I reported to you several weeks ago that she was diagnosed with cancer and along with that had major surgery to remove two tumors. Well, I have some wonderful news! The vet did a needle aspiration of the area and examined it for cancer... it appears that her "margins" are completely clear of cancer!

Sorry for the veterinary terms, but clean margins are what you want! Dirty margins means the cancer remains. She also had a "buffy coat" test, although rather inconclusive, it is a test to determine if cancer is circulating throughout the blood of the animal. Tara's buffy coat test came back negative! While my husband and I are struggling to pay for her medications ($323.00 alone for one), this news makes it all worth it! She's had no change in personality and she's healing beautifully from surgery. Her stitches are out and her hair is growing back! Sometimes hair doesn't grow back in a situation where the dog has been shaved for surgery AND is receiving oral chemotherapy! Keep up the loving prayers, they work! I'll keep you updated, we won't be through the woods until she's has 6 months of negative tests. May God Bless you all.

Jake

UPDATE: Hi, I just wanted to let you know that sadly, Jake passed away today around 10:30 p.m. I had gotten home and my stepmom was waiting to talk to me on the phone and she said she had just received the news and was very sorry. We are all extrememly upset but we are reassured that he is now in a better place and he will no longer be suffering. We'd like to thank everyone who helped us pray and God bless all other animals and people. Thanks again,
Wyndham

We ask everyone to pray for our dog Jake..he's actually my Grammy's dog but just last Thursday he was attacked by a pitbull (Jake is a Dauschund) and we had to rush him to the Animal Emergency Clinic...he seemed to be doing ok yesterday but we had to bring him back and it turns out there is more than just a tear and some puncture wounds. His conditions they say are critical and we pray for this dog to live. He is only 2 years old, just a baby, and he is the sweetest, nicest dog ever! Please send out your prayers. Thank you so much!
(I've included a picture of him....this is when he's sick and we try so hard to keep him well)

Tiger
We are asking for prayers for our cat, Tiger who left our home on Tuesday, June 29, 2004 late at night in Bartlett, IL. We are worried about him because of his front paws are declawed and there are many open wildfields and wildlife in our area. We pray that God will lead him back to our home or that someone will find him and take care of him and be able to let us know. We feel so bad he left due to not paying attention that we ask God to provide peace and comfort to us for whatever happens. Thank you much!
Many Blessings!

Bijou
Dear Friends, I adopted a Siamese cat at the SPCA. We have another Siamese cat, both are spayed. We have tried to tame Bijou and get her accustomed to our cat Minu, up to now very unsuccessfully. When she senses our other cat she becomes very aggressive and unapproachable. We have introduced them on several occasions and they have fought each time. We live in a two bedroom apartment and we all agree that if the cats cannot get accustomed to each other it would be very unfair to keep Bijou locked up in the kids room all the time. She has been with us almost two weeks. We are giving her another two weeks for them to adapt or I will
have to take her back to the SPCA. I feel that what she needs is a person that has no other animals. She was raised by a family that had no pets and perhaps what she needs would be a person that has no other animals. I love her already but she is not letting us near her and my husband is very adamant to keep a unapproachable cat. I am going on vacations for two weeks
starting monday as my kids finish school. Please pray that during that time I can re-socialize Bijou to our cat and the members of my family, otherwise I will have to return her even if I lose the money I paid for her. It really saddens me, but my husband has not given me more time and he is
losing patience and we have had many arguments about Bijou. If it was up to him he would have returned her right away, not caring if I lost the $100.00 that I paid. I have been going every day to pray and light candles at one of the biggest Cathedrals here in Montreal, its in front of the building
where I work and I am starting to feel very discouraged. I have noticed that when Bijou is nervous or agitated her breathing is rather strange and also her muscles on her back start twitching. When I adopted her they only said she had problems with her kidneys and that she needed a special diet.
I am starting to wonder if the previous owners of the cat did not mention other medical problems. She has a vet card from the clinic she was taken too by her previous owners, perhaps during my vacation I will call and find out if she other problems that we not enclosed in her medical history. Please keep us in your prayers, for a happy conclusion of this problem.
God bless you all,
Angela

Tigger

UPDATE: Tigger journeyed to the Rainbow Bridge early Friday.
The exploratory surgery we wrote about earlier showed he had a tumor that was encasing his liver. The vet took some tissue for a biopsy and put Tigger on 100% oxygen and painkillers. He ate a little bit but had a seizure on Wednesday, apparently from interrupted blood flow to his brain. He was given a transfusion of red blood cells and seemed to rally a little. But the vet was almost certain it was cancer and said all we could do was keep Tigger comfortable while we waited for the biopsy results, which we expected Friday. But Tigger was gone when the vet and his staff got to the clinic early Friday. Tanya was startled awake at 5:30 a.m. and saw one of our other cats, Chloe, staring up above our bed ... we think she saw Tigger's spirit passing through on his way to the Rainbow Bridge. The biopsy showed he had an inoperable cancer. When Tigger's liver shut down, it took the other organs with it. We're pretty sure he didn't suffer much.
We took his body to a crematorium and will put his ashes in a container of polished dark oak -- which is what his fur always reminded me of. The vet clinic made an impression of his paw for us, too. Thank you for all your kind thoughts and prayers. And our prayers go out to all of your beloved animals. Jim and Tanya Irwin
(June 26)

Our first cat, Tigger Stanley, is having exploratory surgery today. The vet suspects it's sarcoma, so we're expecting the worst but hoping for the best. Tigger is 13. He came to us from the Michigan Humane Society shelter in Detroit when he was about 6 months old. My wife and I have volunteered for MHS ever since. We've probably fostered at least 250 cats, kittens, dogs and puppies over the years (Tigger has been cool with almost all of them).
We've gotten so much out of working with the animals and the great people at MHS. We know, though, that life isn't always fair and our reward for what we've done will not necessarily be a healthy Tigger. So we're asking you to pray for his recovery and, if it isn't meant to be, please pray that we can comfort him the best we can.

Tara
Last Thursday, my 8 year old dog Tara had major surgery. The veterinarian removed two tumors from her rib cage and also corrected a skin fold problem around her female parts. She went through the surgery beautifully, according to the vet. I only had the two skin tumors removed because she was going to be knocked out anyway for the skin fold surgery. Well, they biopsied the tumors they removed and they revealed stage 2 mast cell cancer.

Oddly, Tara has not shown any signs of having cancer and she's really her old self, so this is very difficult to digest. I'm asking for prayers that they removed all of the cancer from her and it does not return. I've had this dog since she was 7 weeks old. When I got her, she weighed 7 pounds! She is now a whopping 65 pounds! Anyone who knows me from Food Chat knows I stray often onto pets, especially dogs because I love them so much. She's my girl, my one and only - please pray for my gorgeous girl:
Thanks very much.

Sissy

UPDATE: I want to thank you and everyone for your prayers for my cat Sissy.
Unfortunately she passed away (in my arms) this morning June 14. We rushed her into a the vet's office this morning. Dr Burton, the kind soul that he is, checked Sissy out, ran a urine test and said there was nothing he could do at his facility and recommended, if anything, to take her to a local animal hospital where they could run more tests. Keeping me informed, her chances were practically nil and then not even charging me for his time. He is a really caring person. We then took her right into the animal hospital. Dr Martin there said she was almost gone and he could take her in but felt he would just be taking our money and her chances weren't good. I decided if she was going, which I knew she was, it would be at home in my arms. Thanks for your prayers I'm sure that's what kept her going these last few days. She was a fighter but she's God's little girl now!
God Bless!
Carol

 (June 14)

Please say a pray for my cat Sissy. She has been a constant companion since we found her eating out of a dumpster almost 16 years ago. She has been our little girl ever since. She was getting sick and diarrhea daily so we took her to the vet who said she was too fat and put her on WD diet. She lost weight but was getting too skinny. We resumed her regular diet but she kept losing weight. The vet last week said he found a mass in her abdomen and it may be cancer. He put her on predinosone and she really doesn't look very good. It just breaks my heart. She wants to eat but looks like she is having trouble swallowing (she also has lost a few teeth). She does like ice and her food cold, soothing I guess. I'm doing and will continue to do all I can but she sure can use lots of prayers. Thanks,
Carol

Winston

UPDATE: Thank you so very much for all the prayers, kind thoughts and e-mails for Winston while he was sick; unfortunately Winston passed away last Friday, June 4th. The vet asked to do an autopsy and we agreed. He found that Winston had a tumor which attached itself to the base of his heart and grew to such a size that it interfered with his heart and lungs. I know that he is free from all pain and suffering and is waiting for me and someday I will see him again. Until then I will continue to pray for all the animals on this site and any others who need prayers. Again, thank you so much and please remember me in your prayers, for I am having a hard time with this. God bless,   Cheryl    (June 12)

Please pray for Winston my five 1/2 year old Irish Glen of Imaal Terrier who has been quite sick for about a month. It may be a liver infection or a tumor. He is going to the vet on Wednesday and then will have surgery to find out exactly what his problem is. He is my best friend and has taught me more about true, unconditional love than anything in my life. I have enlisted the help of a few saints, everyone I know and now I am begging you for prayers.

He is my beautiful baby boy and deserves nothing less than everything I can do to help him. Thank you,   Cheryl    (June 1)

Elsa

UPDATE (July 8) : Elsa has been very ill again - lymph glands were swollen and her skin burst at the elbow of her right leg. Temperature was very high and the vet wasn't too hopeful, feeling that the cancer had spread. The next day she was refusing food and the vet felt it was time to let her go. After much soul-searching,I decided that she still had a spark which I could not allow to be snuffed out, so I told the vet I was taking her home. I'm sure she would have preferred I had put her to sleep, but I just couldn't . A nurse helped me lift her into the back of my station wagon and I brought her home whereupon she immediately ate a piece of steak, 500grams of minced beef and some chicken pieces. I was delighted that she had eaten. She was extremely wobbly on her legs and would fall over quite easily. Over the next 36 hours I very nearly called the vet out twice but didn't, then out of the blue she started to become stronger, she was eating very well and the swelling had all but disappeared from her leg. She was getting up of her own accord and was not now falling over, she showed interest in the usual things and I was so glad I hadn't been swayed by the vet. I'm not expecting wonderful results but I can only pray that the vet is wrong with her assumptions and that it isn't cancer that has spread. Please continue to pray for Elsa.
Kindest regards and God bless you all.
Anne

UPDATE (June 22) : Elsa is still with me and battling on, although she was so ill a couple of weeks ago I almost had her put to sleep, but I'm so glad I didn't. The prednisilone she is on seems to be doing something because the coughing and bringing up saliva has stopped, she sometimes drools saliva from the sides of her mouth but that's usually after she has had a lot to drink, she does drink more than she used to these days. I asked the vet if she thought the growth might be reducing but her tone was somewhat negative, without saying so I got the impression that she is as sure as she can be without the confirmation of a biopsy that it is cancer and that she believes it's just a matter of time. When I asked if the medication might be reducing the tumour she replied that she thought it may be slowing the growth down, but I think it must be more than that because she has stopped bringing up the saliva pools and surely if the growth hadn't reduced she would still be doing that, anyway I can't say, I only know what I see.

Another X-ray might show something but for now I'm going to see how things go before I have that done again. She still looks twice her age and has a very sad face but her enthusiasm when going to get into the car is still there, and her mobility is still very good although there are odd times she seems to struggle a little getting up. Overall there has been a great deal of improvement and I'm sure all your prayers have helped. I can't thank you enough. God Bless.

Carlton Cat Sanctuary

Please would you pray for my German Shepherd Elsa. Elsa and Meisha are sisters I brought home at 8 weeks old to be friends & companions to me and all my rescue cats and kittens. Elsa was diagnosed with hip displacia when very young after she became frequently lame. she has also suffered a lifetime of ear problems despite all the ear cleaners and drops they never cleared up entirely. In November 2003 she suddenly became ill and took a great deal of encouraging to get her up onto her feet, I took her straight to my vet who X-rayed her hips and the rest of her body and told me that her hips were extremely bad but could see no other problems. She was given various medication over the next couple of months without very much improvement but during that time her face began to look puffy and her skin all over her body seemed to become inflamed so after further X-rays to her head and neck it was discovered that her saliva glands seemed to have a growth which would explain why her jowl's and under jaw were filling up with fluid. She was given a quite high dose of prednisilone which remarkably improved her mobility, the skin inflammation deteriorated but did not entirely disappear and most of the fluid drained from her jowl's and jaw area, but it then became evident she had a thickening around her throat and my vet could feel a lump. She was X-rayed again and this showed a rather large growth in the muscle behind her oesophagus which was pressing and constricting her oesophagus causing her to cough up pools of saliva. When she eats or drinks she immediately starts to cough and brings up mostly saliva and sometimes a little food. It breaks my heart to see her like this as she has always been the kindest natured soul, she has let tiny rescued kittens cuddle up to her and she has washed and snuggled them. She is patient and unassuming and never complains at any of the procedures carried out on her, all the staff at my vets say what a lovely dog she is. She isn't even 9 years old yet. I fear terribly that we are going to lose her as the growth is in such an awkward place it would be almost if not impossible to remove. I have been advised by my vet it would be best not to try. I have not asked for a biopsy because it would make no difference due to the inoperable place of the growth. All I can do is ask all you good people to pray for my wonderful Elsa and ask God to heal her. May the power of all your prayers help my poor girl.
thank you all so very much from the bottom of my heart

Cookie

UPDATE: It is with heavy heart Ireport that Cookie lost her battle with pnemonia. She is dearly missed, and will never be forgotten. Our whole family is grief stricken at the loss of our dear pet. We had the burial under a large shade tree in the field behind our house so we can look out the window everyday and think of her. Thanks so much for your prayers and God Bless you;

The Taylor Family
(May 28)

Cookie is an 11 year old female Australian shepherd, who I was given when she was only three or four months old. The previous owner didn't want her, and had paid someone to shoot her for him.
I found out about this and took her in. We have spent many happy years together; she has been great with my children, my new wife and stepdaughter, and even adopted their little female chihuahua. Cookie has had a cough all spring which after two vet visits was diagnosed as allergies, once not even diagnosed, just given a cure all pill. Now four months later, she suddenly starting panting heavily, and couldn't even get up without great exertion. She is in the vet hospital, and under a vaporizer to break up the coating in her lungs, after being given a lasex shot to dry up her lungs. I've been told by the vet she may not make it, and the morning will tell. Please include her in your prayers as she has been a good good dog, and a great blessing to this family
(May 26)

CindoBela
Please continue to pray for my cat, CindoBela. It's been a year since her diagnosis of FELV+, and she's still hanging in there. I pray for her everyday, but could always use some extra prayers. Thank you,
Cindy

Sally
My cat Sally has cancer and I believe if many people pray for her cancer to leave her body and through faith and prayer she will be healed. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU AND GOD BLESS. PRAISE TO OUR HEAVENLY FATHER THROUGH HIS LOVING SON JESUS.

Sophie

We fell in love with Sophie almost 6 years ago at a RSPCA animal shelter where she had been placed following her owner’s death. She is a tiny little thing – people often think she’s a kitten – but she is a tough little thing. For the last 2 years she has been diagnosed with many health problems; inflammatory bowel disease, mouth abscesses, conjunctivitis, cystitis and now today we have discovered her little legs were unable to carry her. As I write she is at the vet’s having suffered a couple of minor fits and not being able to walk properly. Her blood results show anaemia but an abnormally low protein level also prevents them putting her on a drip. In the last hour we have seen her and she is now starting to eat again. To help her continue her recovery, we would ask you all to think of little Sophie and say a prayer for her. Many thanks,
Caroline & Tony

Precious

Update on Precious      (April 17)
Words can never express how thankful we are for all the wonderful prayers that Precious received from your website. We are so thrilled to report that she is well and even the vet is amazed that throughout this ordeal she didn't develop inflammatory bowel disease. She finished her medication 2-1/2 weeks ago and she is completely cured, and is as normal as a kitten can be expected to be. She will probably always be tiny, but has gained weight and the vet said that she is strong enough to be spayed now. We are asking once again for your prayers to help her get through this surgery. We pray for all God's animals to be healthy and be loved as they should be. We know now more than ever the power of prayer and only by God's grace are we able to do anything.
Thank you so very much,
Cindy

Please pray for my little kitten; she is 6-1/2 months old. She has been fighting intestinal parasites (Giardia & Clostridium). She first got sick on February 20th and after 5 weeks of medicine and now Predisone, she is so much better. She always had such a good appetite and ate so well, but stayed so tiny. She had been getting all of her shots at the vet once a month, but the Vet never thought anything about it because she had such a good appetite and was the energizer bunny. She had also been tested for worms several times and everything came back normal. We don't even know how she contacted this; she lives in the house and hasn't drunk any water that was contaminated. When she first developed severe diarrhea, we were so shocked. She is our angel and we have another cat that is 2-1/2 months older than her. They love each other so much. We were just getting over the death of our beloved Jubilee when we decided to get another kitten; then another kitten. Please pray that our darling "Precious" recuperates completely and lives a long and healthy live. I don't think that I can bear to lose another animal right now. My Jubille was only four years olds when we had to put her down. This little kitten is her half sister and honestly seems as though she was sent down from heaven t
